AAA Rey de Reyes 2026 Results – AAA Rey de Reyes 2026 begins tonight from the Auditorio GNP Seguros in Puebla, Mexico. The event will unfold over three weeks, with tonight serving as Week 1 and additional episodes scheduled for March 21 and March 28.

After a special intro package, Rey Fénix came out to the ring to a big ovation. Fénix told the crowd it was a blessing to be back in Pueblo, spoke proudly about his brother, and introduced the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Penta. After the two embraced, Penta asked Fénix to stay in the ring. He talked about how excited he was to finally reach WWE alongside him before getting injured, thanked Rey Mysterio for stepping in, and took a few shots at Dominik.

Fénix asked the crowd if they wanted to see the Lucha Brothers reunite, and the arena erupted. Penta said he could make it happen at Triplemanía, reminding everyone that the Lucha Brothers were made in AAA and declaring it was time for the world to see them together again. He then shifted to Rey de Reyes, celebrating the event’s 29‑year legacy and promising that his Intercontinental Championship belonged to Mexico and lucha libre. He vowed to defend it in both WWE and AAA and said he was ready for whoever stepped up next.

Flammer issued an open challenge, with the stipulation that a win tonight would move her into the ranks of the longest‑reigning Reina de Reinas Champions in history. All that remained was to see who would answer the call.

Bayley stepping out was a genuine surprise and a welcome one. The idea of Bayley in AAA, free to let loose, immediately electrified the crowd.

The bell rang and the two locked up. Flammer took the first advantage with a wristlock, twisting Bayley to the mat and wrenching her arm behind her back until Bayley countered with a headlock takedown. Bayley rolled Flammer into a pin attempt, but Flammer kicked out. Bayley followed with an armdrag, but Flammer escaped and reset.

Flammer fired off elbows and kicks, but Bayley answered with a snapmare and clothesline that sent Flammer to the floor. Bayley followed with a dropkick and tossed her back inside. Bayley charged the corner, but Flammer flipped her over the top rope and blasted her with a high knee. Bayley staggered, and Flammer hit a suicide dive.

Flammer rolled Bayley back in, kicked her in the face, choked her on the ropes, and drove her tailbone‑first into the ring post. She applied a rear chinlock, grinding Bayley down in the center of the ring.

Bayley fought free with a neckbreaker, followed by shoulder blocks and a side suplex. She draped Flammer across the middle rope and hit a DDT, but Flammer kicked out. Bayley hit a high knee and a sunset flip that sent Flammer crashing into the corner. Bayley connected with a Bayley‑to‑Belly, but Flammer kicked out at two‑and‑a‑half.

Flammer rolled through and stomped the air out of Bayley. Both women rose and traded strikes. Flammer kicked Bayley in the gut and hit a guillotine leg drop with Bayley hung in the ropes. Bayley recovered and dropped an elbow from the second rope for two.

Flammer hit a codebreaker out of the corner, but Bayley kicked out. Flammer placed Bayley on the top turnbuckle for a superplex, but Bayley shoved her off and hit a top‑rope elbow.

Suddenly, the other two members of Los Tóxicas arrived, distracting the referee and attacking Bayley. Flammer capitalized, smashing Bayley’s head into an exposed turnbuckle before planting her and making the cover for the three‑count.

Rey de Reyes Final: La Parka vs. “Original” El Grande Americano vs. Santos Escobar vs. El Grande Americano

For clarity, the Original El Grande Americano is “OG,” and the other is “Grande.”

After a recap of the tournament, including the note that La Parka has competed in 17 Rey de Reyes matches and could earn a record‑setting sixth win, the finalists made their entrances to a mix of cheers and boos.

Escobar and La Parka were immediately tossed out, leaving the Americanos to square off. Before they could get far, Escobar returned, followed by La Parka. OG chopped La Parka in the corner, but La Parka dodged and hit a backbreaker, then a crossbody. Escobar threw La Parka out of the ring.

Grande hit a spinning kick on Escobar and followed with strikes in the corner. He climbed the ropes, but OG dragged him down to the floor. Escobar reentered, only to be dropkicked out by La Parka. The Americanos bailed, and La Parka hit a moonsault onto all three men on the outside.

Back in the ring, La Parka hit OG with an airplane spin powerbomb for two. OG dropped La Parka across the top rope and dragged him to the center for strikes. He targeted La Parka’s arm, twisting and stomping it before applying an arm stretch. La Parka escaped, but OG lured him into a hanging armbar over the ropes. OG followed with a flying clothesline for two.

Escobar returned with a northern lights suplex, but OG countered and chopped him out of the ring again. Grande returned and traded shots with OG until Escobar blasted OG with a knee and took out both Grande and La Parka.

Escobar hit meteoras on all three opponents in separate corners. He covered Grande for two. Grande kept rising, eventually landing a high knee. Grande clotheslined La Parka and Escobar to the floor. OG and Grande traded punches in the ring. Grande hit a backdrop, but Escobar returned and was caught in a reverse chinlock. Escobar flipped out into an ankle lock from OG. Grande grabbed La Parka, but Escobar hip‑tossed OG onto Grande.

The Americanos were sent out, leaving La Parka and Escobar to battle on the top rope. Escobar hit a superplex, but La Parka kicked out. Escobar tried for another suplex, but OG grabbed both men and hit a double German suplex. He covered, but Grande broke it up and attacked him.

OG grabbed Grande’s mask and hit a fisherman buster before climbing the ropes. La Parka caught him and hit a Spanish Fly at the same moment Escobar connected with a superkick. Escobar and La Parka brawled, and the Americanos returned with stereo offense. They loaded up their masks and charged, but La Parka ducked, causing them to headbutt each other. La Parka covered, but the pin was broken up.

Escobar and La Parka hit a double clothesline. OG and Grande brawled into the crowd, fighting all the way to the exit, leaving Escobar and La Parka alone. Escobar grabbed a chair, but La Parka dodged and hit a spinning suplex for two.

La Parka climbed for a moonsault, but Escobar moved. Escobar grabbed La Parka and the chair and hit a facebuster onto it. Grande returned from the crowd and pointed to the balcony, where Los Americanos had handcuffed OG to the railing. Grande reentered the match.

Grande dropped Escobar on his head and went for the headbutt, but Escobar dodged and Grande hit the turnbuckle. Escobar grabbed the chair — but someone wearing his old mask held onto it. The masked figure pulled the chair away just as Grande connected with the headbutt and pinned Escobar to win Rey de Reyes.

After announcing that next week will feature a Tag Title Match between The War Raiders and the AAA Tag Champions Pagano & Psycho Clown, a mixed six‑person tag, and a sword presentation to Grande, it was time for the main event.

AAA Mega Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. El Hijo del Vikingo

Dorian and Vikingo made their entrance without Omos, which immediately raised eyebrows. Dominik Mysterio received a massive ovation as he strutted to the ring wearing multiple coats and shirts adorned with ribcage designs. The stipulation loomed large: if Mysterio lost, he would be forced to leave AAA and Mexico forever—though the legality of that was questionable at best.

The bell rang and Vikingo immediately rolled to the floor to grab a kendo stick. Mysterio retrieved one of his own, and the two briefly clashed in a mock sword fight before tossing the weapons aside and trading strikes. Mysterio landed the first dropkick, but Vikingo answered with armdrags and sent Mysterio to the corner for a series of chops, finishing with a dropkick to the midsection.

Mysterio avoided the next attack but not the one after. Vikingo rolled outside, grabbed two chairs, and hurled one directly at Mysterio’s forehead. As the referee checked on him, Vikingo hit a baseball slide and sent Mysterio crashing into the steps. Vikingo set up a chair, sat Mysterio in it, and launched into a suicide dive that knocked him clean out of the seat.

Back in the ring, Vikingo made the first cover for two. He then pulled a garbage can from under the ring, placed it over Mysterio’s head, and smashed it repeatedly with a kendo stick before dropkicking the can and going for another near fall.

Mysterio escaped the can, only for Vikingo to bite him. A gash opened on Mysterio’s forehead from the earlier chair shot, and Vikingo wiped some of the blood across his mouth. Mysterio mounted a comeback with a sunset flip over the ropes, grabbed a kendo stick, and battered Vikingo before hitting two of the Three Amigos. Vikingo escaped the third, but Mysterio countered with a Michinoku Driver.

Dorian dove into the ring to break up the cover. Mysterio stalked him into the corner, which brought Omos lumbering down the aisle—perfectly legal in this no‑DQ environment. Vikingo tried to steal a quick roll‑up, but Mysterio kicked out and floored him with a clothesline.

Mysterio grabbed the garbage can to strike Vikingo, but Omos caught it and hurled it at Mysterio. Vikingo picked it up and did the same before hitting a double stomp from the top rope for a near fall. Dorian then slid the title belt to Vikingo, who strapped it around his waist and climbed the ropes. He attempted a frog splash while wearing the belt, but Mysterio moved and set up for the 619—only for Omos to catch him mid‑swing and slam him onto the apron.

Omos choke‑slammed Mysterio in the ring and placed Vikingo on the top rope. He dragged Mysterio into position for the finish, but the wrestler formerly known as Mini Vikingo appeared and pulled Vikingo off the turnbuckle. Omos grabbed Mini and began tossing him around, but Mysterio blasted the giant with a chair. Mini grabbed a chair as well, and together they beat Omos down.

Mysterio then cracked Vikingo with a chair, set him up for the 619, connected cleanly, and followed with a frog splash to secure the victory and retain the AAA Mega Championship.
