Former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker is officially back on the road with All Elite Wrestling and is slated for several upcoming television appearances.
Baker made her return to in-ring competition on the special September 9 “Rebel Heart” edition of AEW Dynamite. Teaming alongside Hikaru Shida and TBS Champion Persephone, Baker secured the victory for her team by forcing Hyan to submit to the Lockjaw in a six-woman tag team match against Hyan, Maya World, and Thunder Rosa.
The contest marked Baker’s first official match for AEW in nearly two years, with her previous bout taking place on the November 13, 2024 episode of Dynamite, where she defeated Penelope Ford.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Baker has formally resumed traveling with the roster: “Yes, she’s back on the road with All Elite Wrestling, and expected for several upcoming television dates.”
While she has not wrestled on television since the “Rebel Heart” broadcast, internal focus turns toward the September 30 edition of AEW Dynamite. That show is scheduled to take place live at the Petersen Events Center in Baker’s hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Although AEW has not formally confirmed an appearance for the hometown favorite, her active status on the road makes her a likely candidate for the broadcast.
