WWE SmackDown Results – February 27, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s coverage of WWE SmackDown on February 27, from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky!
SmackDown opened in chaos as Jey Uso was loaded into an ambulance while people shouted around him. Jimmy Uso vowed to find out who was responsible.
Cody Rhodes asked Nick Aldis what was going on, but before Aldis could answer, Trick Williams appeared. Trick said, “Better him than me,” adding that one man was down and four were left to go. Je’Von Evans stepped in and asked Trick directly if he was behind the attack. Trick brushed him off, telling Evans to “let the adults talk.”
In the Arena:
Drew McIntyre then arrived through the crowd. He denied attacking Jey but admitted he found it funny. Drew said he always tells the truth, yet he’s treated as guilty no matter what. He complained that he has to buy a suite every week because he’s an “outlaw” in his own company. All he wants, he said, is to clear the field before the Elimination Chamber. Drew insisted he does what he wants, when he wants.
Aldis reminded Drew he told him not to get involved and ordered him to his office, warning that there were twenty men ready to tear him apart if Aldis gave the word. Drew corrected him, saying there were only six—then five—men standing between him and the title.
Cody Rhodes came out and challenged Drew to fight immediately. Drew asked the crowd if they wanted the match, then refused, saying it wouldn’t benefit him. He claimed he wasn’t a troublemaker and would follow the rules by leaving.
Cody fired back, accusing Drew of spending his entire title reign “running like a little bitch.” Drew stopped in his tracks, stunned by the insult. Cody added that there would be no rematch after tomorrow.
Randy Orton entered next. He said what happened to Jey was awful, but his focus was on winning the Elimination Chamber and becoming a 15-time world champion. Randy turned to Cody to address their situation—until Trick Williams interrupted again.
Trick said he hated to cut in, but he had to remind everyone he was the hottest act in the business, even getting a shoutout from Bruno Mars. Looking at the ring, he said that since they were in Louisville, he could “add some flavor to the menu.”
Je’Von Evans then walked past Trick and entered the ring. Evans said he wanted to “talk crazy” too. He acknowledged their history but declared he would win the Chamber and break Randy’s record as the youngest World Champion.
The final Chamber entrant arrived as LA Knight made his way to the ring. Knight said he heard nothing but empty promises. With only 24 hours until the Chamber, he claimed everyone in the ring belonged to him. He told Drew that when WrestleMania comes, the title will be his.
Trick jumped in again, leading to a back-and-forth catchphrase exchange with Knight. Knight finally punched Trick, and Trick dragged him to the floor as they brawled to the back.
In the ring, Cody, Randy, and Evans remained. Randy suddenly dropped Evans with an RKO. He then stared at Cody before leaving, while Cody kept his eyes locked on him.
Backstage:
Cathy Kelley caught up with Tiffany Stratton backstage to ask whether the night’s chaos affected her mindset heading into the Elimination Chamber. Tiffany admitted the situation “sucks,” but made it clear she won’t let anyone take her out of the match or stop her from reclaiming the title she lost.
Asuka stepped in and told her that Tiffy Time is over, insisting that no one is ready for her tomorrow. Tiffany fired back by asking Asuka if she wanted to prove it tonight. Kairi Sane chimed in, accusing Tiffany of being jealous, before Asuka waved her off and kept her focus on Stratton.

Uncle Howdy vs. Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa pointed at the lantern before the match, sending a clear message to Uncle Howdy. They locked up, with Howdy backing Solo into the corner and giving a clean break. Solo shoved him, and they tied up again. Solo grabbed a side headlock, then hit a shoulder tackle that didn’t knock Howdy down. They traded punches until Solo landed a headbutt.
Howdy answered with a flying back elbow and set up for Sister Abigail, but Solo slipped out and rolled to the floor. Howdy followed, only for Solo to swing for the Samoan Spike and miss—driving his hand into the ring post. Howdy repeatedly smashed Solo’s arm into the post, then into the barricade.
Howdy clotheslined Solo over the barricade into the timekeeper’s area, paused to look at the lantern, then dragged Solo back and drove an elbow into him. He slammed Solo’s injured hand onto the announce table as the fight continued.
Back in the ring, Uncle Howdy kicked Solo Sikoa and drove him into the turnbuckles. Solo answered with a forearm and slammed Howdy face‑first into the middle pad, sending him rolling to the floor. Solo followed and threw Howdy into the barricade before grabbing the lantern. He pushed Howdy back into the ring and tried to shake feeling back into his damaged thumb.
Solo chopped Howdy across the head, but using his injured right hand hurt him as much as it hurt Howdy. He switched to headbutts, then clamped on a nerve hold. Howdy fought to his feet, only for Solo to slam him down and return to the hold. Howdy broke free with a jawbreaker, but Solo went right back to the nerve grip and hammered him with more headbutts.
Howdy punched his way out again, but Solo cut him off with a Samoan Drop for a near fall. Solo immediately went back to the nerve hold, grinding down on Howdy’s shoulder and neck.
Uncle Howdy yanked at Solo Sikoa’s fingers to keep the pressure on the damaged hand. Solo answered with a headbutt, but Howdy fired back with punches and corner clotheslines. Solo caught him with a uranage, then climbed the ropes and hit a frog splash for a near fall.
Solo set up for the Samoan Spike, then changed his mind and tried to hit Sister Abigail instead, even kissing Howdy on the forehead. Howdy countered with a mandible claw, but Solo broke free by landing a desperate Samoan Spike. Solo followed with two running hip attacks in the corner. When he charged for a third, Howdy caught him and planted him with Sister Abigail for the three-count.
Winner: Uncle Howdy
After the match, Howdy reached for the lantern, but Talla Tonga blindsided him and stole it, carrying it to the back.

Backstage, Nick Aldis reminded Drew McIntyre that Elimination Chamber is tomorrow and his opponent will be set afterward. He told Drew to stay home to avoid more chaos. Drew insisted they needed to stay aligned.
Drew walked past Paul Heyman, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul. Aldis stopped them and demanded to know why they were there. Heyman said they were offering help since Jey Uso was out of the Chamber. He suggested Logan Paul take the open spot.
Logan said if he enters the Chamber, he’ll win it—no matter who else is inside. He flexed his bicep at Aldis to make his point.
Aldis noted how “convenient” it was that Jey was attacked and moments later The Vision appeared. Austin asked if Aldis was accusing them. Heyman insisted they were only trying to help and that adding Logan checked every box.
Aldis said politics were involved and he’d make some calls. Heyman asked Logan again if he would win the Chamber. Logan said yes. Heyman warned Austin to keep his temper in check.

Cathy Kelley spoke with Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley backstage, asking how they were handling the pressure of the next few days and where Rhea’s focus stood. Rhea said she should be thinking about the Elimination Chamber, but she has to take things one step at a time. First, she and Iyo need to defend their titles tonight. After that, she’ll shift her attention to the Chamber.
Iyo jumped in with confidence, saying that tomorrow Rhea will win and walk out as champion.
Jade Cargill arrived and told Rhea she won’t have anyone to help her tomorrow. She warned Rhea not to get hurt before the match.
Backstage:
Elsewhere, Nick Aldis was on the phone when Jacob Fatu approached him. Fatu said all signs pointed to Drew McIntyre being behind the earlier attack. If Nick had a Drew problem, then Fatu had a Drew problem too. His solution was simple: put him in the Chamber. Fatu said he should be part of the match, and that this wasn’t a request—it was a conversation. He promised to walk into the Chamber, win it, and head into WrestleMania ready to solve the Drew issue himself.
Nick told him he would take it under advisement.

Sane showed frustration, and Tiffany took advantage by sending her into the ropes and splashing her across the back.
Sane rolled outside, and Tiffany followed with a pescado. She threw Sane back into the ring, but Asuka distracted her long enough for Sane to hit a back fist and ram Tiffany into the ring post. Sane followed with a Sliding D, then climbed the ropes, but she missed the diving forearm. She countered an Alabama Slam with a sunset flip, only for Tiffany to roll through and blast her with a dropkick for two.
Sane kicked Tiffany from the apron and tried for a fisherman’s buster on the edge of the ring, but Tiffany countered. Sane spiked her with a DDT on the apron instead. She went up top again and landed a diving forearm for another near fall. Sane climbed once more, but Tiffany shoved her off the turnbuckles and sent her crashing into Alba Fyre.

Back in Nick Aldis’ office, he found Paul Heyman, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul waiting. Nick said he had spoken with Adam Pearce and confirmed that Logan would get a chance to qualify for the Elimination Chamber. Heyman immediately asked what the catch was.
Nick told them the condition: Logan must defeat Jacob Fatu to earn his spot.
Logan stopped Heyman from objecting and told Nick he understood exactly what he was doing. Logan said he could beat “WWE’s most dangerous werewolf” without hesitation.

The Miz vs. Oba Femi
The Miz tried to stall before the bell, slipping to the floor and insisting the match didn’t need to happen. He told Oba Femi they didn’t have to fight and tried to turn the moment into a “teaching session.” Miz claimed nobody wanted the match and positioned himself as a locker‑room leader offering guidance. He even asked Oba if he could be his “Undertaker.”
Oba shut that down immediately, saying Miz looked like a dead man to him.
Miz kept pitching the idea of mentorship, promising to use his connections to help Oba avoid being a “flash in the pan.” He even got the crowd to chant Oba’s name, but Oba made it clear he didn’t need Miz’s help. He asked Louisville if he should team with Miz, joking about becoming the “Awesome Rulers,” before telling Miz he was “dying for a shot.”
Miz tried to back out again, saying the lesson was knowing when to walk away. He swung at Oba instead, but Oba flattened him with a clothesline. Miz tried to fight back, dropping Oba on the top rope, but Oba chopped him out of the air when he leapt from the turnbuckles. Oba hit a running uppercut, missed a second, then blocked the Skull‑Crushing Finale. He launched Miz across the ring and finished him with a sit‑out powerbomb for the three-count.

He promised Hayes he would let him know when he was ready to step back into the ring. For now, he wanted Hayes to go out there and prove himself.
Hayes didn’t appreciate the pep talk. He said he didn’t need Ilja’s motivation—he needed his own. If he didn’t take this opportunity, someone else would.

WWE SmackDown Preview – February 27, 2026
On the eve of WWE Elimination Chamber, the competitors in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match will stand face‑to‑face inside the ring. With a WrestleMania 42 championship opportunity hanging in the balance, tensions are expected to run high as all six participants share the same space less than 24 hours before entering one of WWE’s most unforgiving structures.
Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Although Rhea Ripley is preparing for her own battle inside the Women’s Elimination Chamber, tonight she shifts her focus to tag team gold. Ripley teams with IYO SKY to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against the powerhouse duo of Lash Legend & Nia Jax. Ripley and SKY have been dominant since capturing the titles, but Legend and Jax have proven to be one of the most physically imposing teams in the division.
Solo Sikoa vs. Uncle Howdy
A dark chapter continues as Solo Sikoa steps into the ring with Uncle Howdy. Weeks ago, Sikoa took possession of the Wyatt Sicks’ lantern, and last Friday he was attacked from behind in a chilling message from the mysterious faction. Tonight marks the first one‑on‑one confrontation between Sikoa and Howdy, with the Wyatt Sicks’ shadow looming over the entire arena.
Oba Femi vs. The Miz
Oba Femi has demolished Kit Wilson twice in decisive fashion, drawing the attention of both brand general managers. When The Miz attempted to offer guidance as a self‑proclaimed “locker room leader,” Femi dismissed him outright. Now Miz steps into the ring with the dominant newcomer, hoping to teach a lesson — or survive one.

Following a backstage confrontation last week, Jordynne Grace will go one‑on‑one with Candice LeRae. Grace has been building momentum across both brands, while LeRae looks to reestablish herself in the women’s division.
