WrestleMania 41 Breaks All-Time Gate Record – WWE set a new financial benchmark with WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. The two-night event produced a combined $66,074,558 in ticket revenue, the highest total ever recorded for a professional wrestling show. The data, obtained by POST Wrestling from live event trade publication Pollstar, showed each night bringing in roughly $33 million.
The shows, which was already billed as the most succesful event ever, took place at Allegiant Stadium on April 19 and 20. Ticket sales reached 113,412 across both nights. Attendance figures from the stadium authority listed 58,538 fans on Saturday and 60,103 on Sunday, for a total of 118,641 people in the building over the weekend.
Revenue was likely split evenly, though Sunday may have edged ahead. A similar trend happened at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, where the second night generated slightly higher income than the first.
Night 1 in Las Vegas closed with Seth Rollins defeating Roman Reigns and CM Punk in a triple threat match. Night 2 ended with John Cena capturing the Undisputed WWE Title from Cody Rhodes. Both nights now stand as the largest inflation-adjusted gates in wrestling history.
Before this, the top mark in real-time dollars belonged to WrestleMania 40 Night 2. Adjusted for inflation, WrestleMania 32 in Arlington had been the previous record holder, with its original $17.3 million gate equaling about $23 million today. Each night in Las Vegas surpassed that level by around $10 million.
Higher ticket prices played a major role. WWE and parent company TKO Group Holdings aligned pricing with major concerts and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The average ticket price reached about $635, nearly double the average from the Philadelphia WrestleMania.
WWE also secured a $5 million site fee from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Nevada’s film program added another $4.2 million in tax credits, bringing total incentives to roughly $9.2 million.
Other shows tied to WrestleMania week generated strong revenue as well. Events at T-Mobile Arena included SmackDown on April 18 with $2.5 million in ticket sales, NXT Stand & Deliver with $924,000, and Raw after WrestleMania on April 21 drawing $3.48 million.
