Bianca Belair Set for Hand Surgery – Bianca Belair is continuing to deal with a serious hand injury and is scheduled to undergo surgery today, Monday, February 16, 2026. The former champion shared the update over the weekend on social media to inform fans about her condition and recovery.

“Finger surgery tomorrow,” Belair wrote, adding a praying emoji to the message.

The procedure follows a long recovery period that has kept her out of action for nearly a year. The injury happened at WrestleMania 41 on April 20, 2025. At first, Belair believed she would be sidelined for only 8–12 weeks, but the timeline grew much longer and has now stretched to about 10 months. She first revealed in a December Instagram Q&A that surgery would be required to fully repair the damage.

Speaking during an interview on 106 & Sports, Belair explained that the injury involved more than a simple broken finger.

“So I broke my knuckle, not my finger, I broke my knuckle, I broke the joint. It’s something that I thought was going to be a very straightforward, you know, 8-12 weeks. It’s been almost six months at this point,” she said.

She also described how the injury occurred during a Women’s World Championship triple threat match involving IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.

“I was in a triple threat with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. And we were going to the top rope, because that’s what we do, and we came off the top rope and Rhea landed straight on my hand and it just crushed everything in my finger. So it’s been a crazy journey. You know, being an athlete and having an injury, you rely on your body and now my body’s not doing what it’s supposed to do. But I’m hoping that I can be back in the ring soon.”

Since WrestleMania 41, Belair has made only limited television appearances. Her most notable role during the recovery came as a guest referee for a match between Jade Cargill and Naomi at WWE Evolution.

Despite the long rehabilitation process and complications, internal expectations had pointed to a possible role for Belair at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas this April. With surgery now taking place, her status for the event could be affected.
