Bianca Belair Shares New Details on Her Recovery

Bianca Belair Shares New Details on Her RecoveryBianca Belair has offered a clearer picture of the injury that has kept her out of action since WrestleMania 41, confirming that the damage to her hand was far more serious than originally believed. The EST of WWE has now spent close to six months on the sidelines following her Triple Threat Match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley, and her latest comments provide the most detailed update yet.

Belair recently conducted a Q&A session on Instagram, where a fan asked about her finger. She shared a photo along with the caption “It’s getting fixed”, using prayer-hand emojis to signal both progress and optimism. She added that during her recovery, she gained 20 pounds but has already dropped half of it as she continues training for her eventual return.

Speaking on BET’s 106 & Sports, Belair expanded on the situation, explaining that the injury wasn’t simply a broken finger but a far more complicated issue. She noted that the initial timetable of 8–12 weeks no longer applied because the actual damage involved a broken knuckle and a fractured joint.

“So I broke my knuckle, not my finger, I broke my knuckle, I broke the joint,” Belair said. “I was in a triple threat with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY… we came off the top rope and Rhea landed straight on my hand and it just crushed everything in my finger… now my body’s not doing what it’s supposed to do. But I’m hoping that I can be back in the ring soon.”

Her update confirms that recovery has been slower than anticipated due to the complexity of the injury, though she remains focused on rehabilitation and optimistic about returning to WWE programming.
