1/31 AAA on Fox Results

1/31 AAA on Fox Results – The show kicked off with the massive Omos being led to the ring by Dorian Roldán. Rey Mysterio, fresh from the Royal Rumble, provided translation on commentary. Roldan talked about how his family created AAA and its characters. He took credit for taking AAA to where it’s at now, bringing in some of the best wrestlers in the world. He then called El Hijo de Vikingo to the ring.

Vikingo reminded everyone that he is the #1 contender for the AAA Mega Championship after crushing El Grande Americano. He said he’s turning his back on the fans though and at Rey de Reyes he will be victorious.

Suddenly, Dirty Dom himself appeared via video. He called them all cowards said he’d face Vikingo at Rey de Reyes. He then said that Vikingo doesn’t belong, Dom is the king, and he will embarrass him at Rey De Reyes.

AAA World Cruiserweight Title #1 Contendership Four Way Match: TJP vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Chris Carter vs Elio LeFleur

TJP got the jump off the top, pounding Vikingo in the corner. LeFleur interrupted and sent TJP out. LeFleur followed and Carter and Vikingo landed suicide dives on both.

Back in the ring, Carter and Vikingo fought, running through a chain of fast, high impact moves until they reached a stalemate and shook hands out of respect. TJP put a stop to that though and took them both out. He then pulled LeFleur down off the top rope and turned his attention to Carter.

Cartergot wrapped up in a grapevie and LeFleur tried to get involved. TJP tied him up at the same time until Vikingo broke the whole thing up. Lefleur grabbed TJP and sent him to the corner. TJP dodged a charge from Vikingo and he collided with LeFleur.

TJP then wrapped Vikingo up in a surfboard, stretching him until Carter tried to steal one and LeFleur came in from the top rope to keep anyone form pinning anyone. Vikingo knocked LeFleur into TJP, sending them both to the outside. He dove on both and held TJP so Carter could hit him with a corkscrew dive. LeFleur followed, taking out everyone.

Vikingo went up top and hit a splash on Carter, but TJP did the same thing and hit a 450 on them both! TJP then pinned Carter to pick up the win and become the #1 contender to the Crusierwieght Title.

Match Result: TJP defeated Mini Vikingo and Chris Carter

After the match, el Hijo de Vikingo, Omos and Roldan all came down to the ring. They climbed in and TJP took that opportunity to make his exit. Vikingo asked him to put Mini Vikingo back into the ring, which he did. Omos then picked up the Mini Vikingo and powerbombed him, much to Rey Mysterio’s dismay.

Vikingo (el Hijo de) grabbed a mic and laughed. He then stripped Mini Vikingo of the permission to use his name and moves. Omos powerbombed him again to put an exclamation mark on the point.

La Hiedra vs. Lola Vice (Special Referee: Mr. Iguana)

Iguana and Vice were pulling a Rick Rude on tonight’s episode, having appeared at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia earlier in the day. I guess Rey Mysterio did too. They, that’s a trifecta of Rude. A Rude-fecta? Anyway, this match was over who wins Iguana’s heart, and to be his mixed tag partner.

The two tied up off the top with Vice coming out the winner until Hiedra hit her in the face with a forearm. She whiffed on the next attempt and Vice went for a cover. Hiedra kicked out, but Vice locked her legs around her chest until the ref broke it up.

They traded pinning combinations until Iguana was lovingly hugged by Vice. That enraged Hiedra who charged, but Vice caught her and hit a springboard armdrag. Vice started kicking Hiedra in the corner and set her up for a cannonball, but Hiedra dodged and countered with one of her own.

Iguana sent the other members of the Toxicas to the back and Hiedra grabbed a headlock. Vice elbowed her way out of it. Vice slapped on a sleeper, but Heidra broke out. Vice used her talented legs to start with the kicks and then a headscissor.

Hiedra went to the outside and Vice followed with a dive. Tossing Hiedra back in, Vice used her other, uh, assets, to deliver a cannonball in the corner. She went for the pin, but Hiedra kicked out. Heidra threw Vice into the middle rope and then hit a flatliner for a two count.

Hiedra went up top for a dropkick and then grabbed Iguana’s puppet. That gave her the distraction to roll up vice, but Iguana saw her granb a handful of trunks and waved it off. Vice then countered and rolle dup Hiedra for the win.

Match Result: Lola Vice defeated La Hiedra

Backstage, AAA Mixed Tag Champions Ethan Page and Chelsea Green (who was also in the rumble, making it a Quad-Rude) watched the result. They left to prepare to defend their titles against Iguana and Vice.

Next, Santos Ecobar cut a promo, but it was unfortunately not translated. One can assume it was about el Hijo de Dr Wagner jr and the AAA Latin American Title. I think Escobar wants it, which would track.

Rey de Reyes 2026 Qualifying Four Way Match: Aero Star vs. Apollo Crews vs. La Parka vs. Jack Cartwheel

La Parka was ALSO in Saudi Arabia for the Rumble, so now we are up to a Cinco de Rude.

La Parka and Crews hooked up off the top, with Crews sending him to the outside. Areostar came in and tripped Crews to the outside. That let Cartwheel, uh, cartwheel dropkick Areostar. La Parka came back in and didn’t fare much better. Crews then threw Cartwheel over the top rope and followed with a dive to take out all four.

Crews chose La Parka to throw back into the ring and nailed him with a staaaaaalling suplex. La Parka hit a Michinoku Driver out of nowhere and almost got a quick win, but Cartwheel broke it up. La Parka sent Crews to the outside then frog splashed Cartwheel, but Aerostar broke up the pin.

Crews and Areostar locked up nest, but La Parka got back in the ring in time to eat a codebreaker from Areostar. Cartwheel then came in for a Poisonrana on Crews, leaving all four men on their backs in the ring.

Cartwheel armdragged Crews out of the ring and then took out La Parka and Areostar with a (you guessed it) cartwheel. He went up top and hit a twisting shooting star press on La Parka, but Crews broke it up.

Crews then started powerbombing everyone until Areostar hit a cutter. He went up top, but La Parka grabbed him for a spanish fly, follwed by the thriller. 1-2-3 La Parka pinned Aerostar to qualify for Rey de Reyes.

Match Result: La Parka defeated Aero Star, Apollo Crews and Jack Cartwheel
