Spoilers for MLW Battle Riot VIII – The following are spoilers for MLW Battle Riot VIII, which was taped on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida. The event will be made available for fans on YouTube on February 5, 2026.

MLW Battle Riot VIII featured a full slate of matches leading into the signature Battle Riot main event, which ultimately crowned a new MLW World Heavyweight Champion.

  • The show opened with Shotzi Blackheart defeating Priscilla Kelly. After the match, Blackheart made her intentions clear by stating she wants a shot at the MLW Featherweight Championship.
  • Scarlett Bordeaux picked up a victory over Aleah James, followed by Austin Aries defeating Trevor Lee.
  • Aries remained in the spotlight after the match, delivering a promo and putting Blue Panther on notice for the MLW National Openweight Championship.
  • The Good Brothers defeated Mark and Joe Coffey in tag team action. The match did not end quietly, as The Good Brothers and The Skyscrapers brawled their way to the back following the decision.
  • Diego Hill later defeated Adam Brooks
  • Karissa Rivera promo aired shortly afterward

  • Alex Hammerstone defeated Bishop Dyer in singles competition.
  • One of the major moments of the night came when KUSHIDA defeated Templario to win the MLW World Middleweight Championship. After the match, KUSHIDA shocked the crowd by turning heel and officially joining Contra, marking a major character shift.
  • The main event Battle Riot match saw Killer Kross enter at number one and survive the entire match. Kross outlasted a loaded field to win the Battle Riot and crown himself the new MLW World Heavyweight Champion.
