Steph De Lander Cleared for In-Ring Return – Steph De Lander has provided a positive update on her recovery and potential return to professional wrestling, confirming that she has been medically cleared following major neck surgery.
De Lander revealed this week that she is fully healed after undergoing neck fusion surgery on her C5 and C6 vertebrae in October 2024. The procedure sidelined her for several months, and she has been out of in-ring action since TNA Wrestling’s television tapings in Florida last August. At the time of the surgery, concerns naturally surrounded her long-term future in the ring, given the seriousness of neck injuries in wrestling.
On Wednesday, De Lander took to X to share the update directly with fans and the industry. She stated that her surgeon has officially cleared her to return but emphasized that she is still seeking further medical guidance to ensure she can resume wrestling safely. In her post, she directly tagged WWE, TNA Wrestling, and AEW in hopes of receiving assistance from qualified medical professionals associated with major promotions.
“My neck is 100% healed and I have been cleared by my surgeon to return to the ring. I need guidance from a medical professional to ensure safety so I can get back to doing what I love. I have asked so many times. Can anyone help me @ThisIsTNA @WWE @AEW ???”
While she has not yet announced a specific return date, the update suggests that De Lander is actively working toward an in-ring comeback rather than remaining sidelined indefinitely. Her request highlights the additional steps many wrestlers take beyond surgical clearance, especially when returning from injuries involving the neck or spine.
De Lander and her husband, Mance Warner, signed multi-year contracts with TNA Wrestling in October 2024. Despite being unable to compete, she has remained visible on television. Most recently, she accompanied Warner during his appearance in the Feast or Fired match on last week’s episode of TNA iMPACT, signaling that she is still closely involved with the promotion.
As of now, TNA Wrestling has not issued an official statement regarding De Lander’s in-ring status or any additional medical evaluations. However, her comments make it clear that she is eager to return once all safety measures are in place. Given her contract status and continued presence on TNA programming, any eventual return is expected to take place under the TNA banner unless circumstances change.
