Karrion Kross Responds to Aleister Black & Zelina Vega Comparisons – Since their release from WWE, Karrion Kross and Scarlett have remained a popular topic of discussion among fans, particularly after recent comparisons surfaced between their presentation and that of Aleister Black and Zelina Vega. Addressing the conversation during a recent episode of K100 with Konnan & Disco, Kross offered a calm and respectful perspective, making it clear that he doesn’t wish to influence how fans interpret what they see.
“I can’t tell people how to feel about what they’re seeing,” Kross said. “People are fu**ing tired of being told how to feel about what they see and hear. So I don’t want to be that guy.”
Rather than criticizing the comparisons, Kross took a gracious approach, expressing appreciation that he and Scarlett remain part of the broader wrestling conversation despite no longer being part of WWE. “This is what I will say,” Kross continued. “Scarlett and I are very flattered that we’re still a subject of conversation among people online and fans and wrestling, because, let’s face it, we’re not in the biggest show on the planet. So when this stuff comes up, we’re flattered, bro, like we’re flattered to still be in the conversations.”
Kross also emphasized that creative direction in wrestling isn’t always under the performers’ control, noting that similarities between acts could easily come from behind-the-scenes decisions. “And you never really know if that’s the performers doing that or that is something they’re being asked to do,” he added. “So I can’t throw shade. You know what I mean?”
Kross’ comments reflect his measured outlook and respect for both fans and fellow wrestlers, focusing on gratitude rather than criticism. His remarks also highlight how deeply intertwined creative choices can be in the wrestling industry, where presentation often blurs the line between performer input and company direction.
