AEW Collision SPOILERS for January 24 – All Elite Wrestling taped the January 24 episode of AEW Collision on January 21 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. The show was originally scheduled to air live from Arlington, Texas, but severe winter weather in the area forced AEW to cancel the live event and adjust plans. As a result, Collision was taped immediately following AEW Dynamite and will air as scheduled on Saturday night.

The episode featured several notable singles matches, title bouts, and storyline developments that continued to shape AEW programming heading into the end of January.

Hangman Page opened the night with a hard-fought victory over Katsuyori Shibata. The match focused heavily on striking and physical exchanges, with Page ultimately securing the win to maintain his momentum on Collision.

Kris Statlander picked up a win over Isla Dawn in singles action. Following the match, Thekla appeared via video, cutting a promo aimed at Statlander. During the segment, Thekla spat on a Statlander t-shirt and threw it into the trash, clearly escalating their rivalry.

The CMLL World Heavyweight Championship was on the line as Claudio Castagnoli defended his title against Roderick Strong. Castagnoli was accompanied by Wheeler Yuta, while Strong had Orange Cassidy in his corner. Jon Moxley joined commentary for the bout. Castagnoli retained the championship after a competitive match that blended power offense and technical wrestling.

Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher scored a tag team victory over Austin Gunn and Billy Gunn. Don Callis joined commentary for the match, continuing his involvement with Takeshita and Fletcher. After the win, Kazuchika Okada appeared to applaud them from ringside, adding another layer to the ongoing storyline.

In tag team action, Jake Doyle and Mark Davis defeated Alec Price and Jordan Oliver. After the match, Don Callis cut a promo before being interrupted by Stokely, who appeared on the screen.

Andrade El Idolo continued his return run by defeating CMLL’s Magnus in singles competition. This marked Andrade’s second match since returning to AEW and further reestablished him on Collision.

The main title match of the night saw Willow Nightingale successfully defend the TBS Championship against Julia Hart. During the match, chaos broke out at ringside as Harley Cameron and Skye Blue brawled, creating distractions throughout the contest. Despite the outside involvement, Nightingale retained her championship.

The taped Collision episode delivered a full slate of matches and storyline progression despite the weather-related changes, giving AEW fans a complete show ahead of Saturday’s broadcast.
