Sami Zayn Segment Announced for SmackDown – WWE SmackDown returns to the MVP Arena in Albany, New York, as John Cena’s “Last Time Is Now” farewell tour continues to shape WWE’s weekly lineup. With the road to Survivor Series tightening, the blue brand features new developments, including the return of Sami Zayn to the program.
Zayn has been announced for this Friday’s show, where he is expected to address Solo Sikoa. While still “not medically cleared,” Zayn remains determined to confront Sikoa and The MFTs after their attack on the October 17 episode of SmackDown. Despite that status, WWE noted that Zayn attempted to rush the ring last week in pursuit of Sikoa, intensifying their ongoing feud.
WWE issued the following announcement:
“Though not medically cleared last week, Sami Zayn still charged the ring in an attempt to finally get his hands on Solo Sikoa and The MFTs. Now, Zayn has a message for Sikoa. Find out what chaos is in store, Friday at 8e/7c on SmackDown on USA.”
Zayn’s appearance, while not a match, adds another layer to his storyline with Sikoa as tensions continue rising heading into the upcoming stages of Cena’s farewell tour and the Last Time Is Now tournament.
Here is the updated lineup for the November 14 edition of WWE SmackDown:
- Last Time Is Now Tournament: The Miz vs. Jey Uso
- Last Time Is Now Tournament: LA Knight vs. TBA
- Jade Cargill vs. B-Fab
- Sami Zayn will address Solo Sikoa
