11/7 WWE SmackDown Sees Viewership Rise – According to PWTorch, the November 7 episode of WWE SmackDown drew 1.141 million viewers on USA Network, marking a strong rebound from the October 31 episode, which pulled in 933,000 viewers while airing opposite Game 6 of the World Series. The show also saw an increase in the key 18–49 demographic, scoring a 0.26 rating compared to the previous week’s 0.20.
The improved numbers reflect the audience’s return after a tough week of sports competition. SmackDown’s consistent performance since moving to USA Network has been closely monitored, especially with Nielsen’s recent introduction of its new “Big Data + Panel TV” measurement system.
The new methodology merges Nielsen’s traditional household panels with extensive data from more than 45 million households and 75 million connected devices, including smart TVs and cable boxes from major providers like Comcast, Dish, DIRECTV, Roku, and Vizio. The hybrid system is expected to provide a more precise and comprehensive view of television audiences — an important factor for live programming such as professional wrestling.
The November 7 SmackDown was headlined by a heated confrontation between Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black, which continued their ongoing feud. Other highlights included Chelsea Green capturing the WWE Women’s U.S. Title from Giulia and Jade Cargill’s fiery first address as the new WWE Women’s Champion.
YouTube metrics also reflected the show’s momentum. The full match between Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black topped WWE’s official channel with 1 million views. Black’s post-match confrontation with Rhodes followed at 661,000 views, while Chelsea Green’s title win reached 569,000 views. Jade Cargill’s promo drew 529,000 views, and Drew McIntyre’s verbal clash with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis rounded out the top five with 454,000 views.
