Chavo Guerrero Jr. Confirms WWE Deal, Assisting with AAA Collaboration – Chavo Guerrero Jr. has officially returned to WWE. During an interview with veteran journalist Bill Apter, the former WWE and WCW star revealed that he recently signed a new deal with the company and is currently assisting with WWE’s collaboration involving AAA.

“I just re-signed with WWE,” Guerrero Jr. confirmed. “I’m putting together, helping out with their AAA show.”

The move marks another chapter in Guerrero’s long-standing relationship with both WWE and the world of Lucha Libre. Guerrero, whose legendary family lineage traces directly to Mexican wrestling history, expressed pride in seeing AAA operate under WWE’s umbrella.

“AAA is awesome, was always awesome,” he said. “Lucha Libre, that’s where my family originated from. So I have a big love of Lucha Libre and just to see AAA under that WWE umbrella is pretty awesome.”

Guerrero also spoke about AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio, who has incorporated many of Eddie Guerrero’s signature traits into his own persona. From his signature “Lie, Cheat, Steal” antics to openly calling Eddie his “real father” on WWE television, Dominik has often paid homage to the late Hall of Famer.

“He always wanted to be a Guerrero,” Chavo noted. “His dad’s Rey Mysterio, one of the best of all time, but he wanted to be like the Guerreros.”

Chavo added that he enjoys seeing Dominik channel the Guerrero legacy in his performances. “So it’s pretty cool to see him actually trying to follow in those steps and kind of just using some lie, cheat, steal Guerrero-isms, it’s pretty cool to see.”

Guerrero’s latest WWE role is expected to strengthen the company’s ties with AAA while continuing to honor the Guerrero family’s deep-rooted connection to Lucha Libre.
