Green and Page defeated the reigning champions, Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra, to claim the titles in a hard-fought match that ended the former champions’ lengthy reign, which began in December 2024. Following the loss, tensions boiled over between Iguana and Hiedra, with the two arguing in the ring before Hiedra slapped her partner and stormed away.
Lola Vice, who was on commentary for the event, entered the ring after the match to comfort Mr. Iguana. The segment immediately sparked speculation that Vice could align herself with Iguana to challenge the new champions in the future.
The victory marks another milestone in Green and Page’s partnership, which began earlier this year on WWE NXT. Their chemistry and charisma quickly earned fan support, and Green has openly expressed her desire to help Page transition to the main roster. Page’s momentum continues to rise—he is also the reigning NXT North American Champion after defeating Ricky Saints to win the title.
