Adam Copeland Expected to Miss More AEW TV Time – Adam Copeland is not expected to return to AEW television in the immediate future. Copeland has been absent from AEW programming since the post-All Out episode of Dynamite in September, where he told Christian Cage he needed time away to “find himself.” That storyline exit came just after Copeland witnessed FTR attack his wife, Beth Phoenix, following his tag team victory with Christian at All Out.
While his initial absence was tied to his filming schedule for Percy and The Olympians, Copeland is now busy with another major film project. According to PWInsider, the WWE Hall of Famer has been spotted in London, England, working on The Beekeeper 2, an upcoming action sequel starring Jason Statham. The report adds that Copeland will remain committed to the project through most of November, meaning he won’t be available for AEW programming until production wraps.
The Beekeeper 2 continues the story of a retired government assassin played by Statham. Filming began roughly a month ago, with scenes initially shot around Canary Wharf. Production has since moved to Greenham Common — a location known for its history as a former Royal Air Force station. Local outlet Newbury Today reported that filming in the area recently included explosions and a “gigantic fireball,” which drew attention from nearby residents and prompted calls to West Berkshire Council.
Meanwhile, Copeland’s AEW storyline rivals remain active. Christian Cage continues his run as one of AEW’s top heels, though he is not currently scheduled for a match at Full Gear on November 22. With Copeland off TV for at least the remainder of the month, it appears fans will have to wait a bit longer before seeing the next chapter in the Copeland–Cage rivalry unfold on AEW television.
