Adam Copeland Teases Leaving AEW – The September 24 episode of AEW Dynamite revisited the fallout from All Out, where Adam Copeland and Christian Cage scored a major win over FTR. A backstage video aired showing an emotional exchange between Copeland and Cage after their victory. Copeland admitted the situation was affecting his family, telling Christian he needed to step away and wasn’t sure if he would return. Christian responded that he no longer had a family of his own and urged Copeland to focus on his loved ones. Copeland reaffirmed that he does have a family, and the tense moment ended with a handshake.

Following the footage, FTR—Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood—came to the ring with Stokely Hathaway to address the situation. Wheeler explained that their goal had been to defeat Copeland and Cage and then chase the AEW Tag Team Championships, but Copeland’s personal involvement, including bringing his wife Beth Phoenix into the conflict, disrupted their plans. Stokely then commented on the All Out incident where Beth speared him, claiming he only approached the ramp to introduce himself and bore no ill will toward her. He said he forgave Beth for the attack.

Harwood added that he had been told to apologize for dropping Beth on her head during the match, but he refused, insisting it was a mistake caused by his impaired vision after Beth punched his injured nose, which made him believe she was Adam.

The confrontation intensified when Willow Nightingale entered the ring, declaring that Beth Phoenix inspired her wrestling career and demanding a sincere apology from FTR or for them to leave. Stokely dismissed her, saying it was past her bedtime, prompting Willow to slap him. JetSpeed’s Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight then hit the ring, with Bailey landing a superkick on Harwood and Knight dropkicking Wheeler before FTR pulled Stokely to safety to end the segment.
