Ridge Holland Announces First Post-WWE Appearance – Ridge Holland has announced his first post-WWE appearance following confirmation that his contract with the company will not be renewed. Holland, whose real name is Luke Menzies, revealed earlier this month that his deal officially ends on November 14, 2025.
Less than two weeks later, Menzies is set to appear at the GCW Dream On Fan Slam event on November 22 at the American Dream complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The appearance will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. as part of the fan convention leading into Game Changer Wrestling’s Dream On show later that evening. The booking was officially announced by Salvatore Wrestling Promotions via Instagram, marking Menzies’ first scheduled appearance since his upcoming WWE departure was made public.
Holland is currently sidelined while recovering from foot surgery and has stated that he may also require another operation on his neck. Despite the setbacks, he appears optimistic about his recovery and future outside of WWE.
His exit follows reports that he accepted a pay cut during his last contract renewal. In recent months, Holland had been used sparingly, spending most of his time on the NXT brand. His final two matches occurred in NXT earlier this year — a loss to Mike Santana, followed by a match against Moose in which he sustained the foot injury that ultimately put him out of action.
Menzies, a former rugby league player turned professional wrestler, first signed with WWE in 2018 and gained attention as part of the Brawling Brutes alongside Sheamus and Butch. With his departure now confirmed, his upcoming GCW appearance signals the beginning of a new chapter in his career.
