Omos Makes In-Ring Return at NXT Live Event in Columbus – Omos made his long-awaited return to in-ring action during the NXT live event in Columbus, Ohio, on October 9. This marked his first WWE match since April 2024, when he competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
At the event, “The Nigerian Giant” confronted Lexis King in what turned out to be a dominant showing. Omos quickly overpowered King, defeating him in convincing fashion. Unwilling to accept the loss, King demanded an immediate rematch, but the outcome was no different — Omos once again made quick work of him, leaving no doubt about his dominance.
WWE later posted footage of Omos’ surprise appearance on social media, sparking fan discussion about his possible return to televised action.
While this was Omos’ first match in WWE in nearly six months, he has remained active outside the company. During his time away from WWE programming, Omos competed for international promotions such as Pro Wrestling NOAH and AAA, further expanding his global experience.
As of now, there is no official word on when Omos will make his return to WWE television, but his appearance at the NXT live event suggests that “The Nigerian Giant” may soon be back in the mix on a larger stage.
