NXT Defeats AEW Dynamite in Ratings Battle With Huge Viewership Gap – WWE NXT earned a major victory in the latest head-to-head ratings showdown with AEW Dynamite on Tuesday night. The NXT vs. TNA Showdown special averaged 625,000 viewers on USA Network, marking a 9.3 percent increase from the previous week and almost than double AEW’s audience.
AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday, which aired on TBS outside its usual Wednesday timeslot, averaged just 321,000 viewers. That figure represents a 31 percent drop from last week and stands as the lowest recorded audience in the history of AEW Dynamite.
In the key 18-49 demographic, NXT secured a 0.12 rating — up 20 percent from the prior week but tied for the second-lowest demo rating of 2025. Dynamite drew a 0.07 rating in the same category, a 22.2 percent decline from last week and the lowest demo rating the program has ever received.
The results further emphasize the ongoing shift in wrestling viewership patterns. It’s important to note that both WWE and AEW have seen steep declines across the board since Nielsen introduced its new “Big Panel + Data” measurement system two weeks ago. This system has significantly affected television ratings for all major wrestling programming, making the new figures difficult to compare to previous months.
Even with that context, the latest results clearly show NXT dominating this week’s head-to-head competition, continuing WWE’s recent momentum in the Tuesday night battle.
