Bully Ray Analyzes the Main Event Segment from Last Night’s WWE RAW

Bully Ray Analyzes the Main Event Segment from Last Night’s WWE RAW – On Busted Open Radio, Dave LaGreca and Bully Ray broke down the closing moments of last night’s WWE RAW, which featured Roman Reigns making his return and aligning himself with Jey Uso. The post-match scene has sparked debate, particularly regarding Reigns’ decision to embrace Jey while seemingly leaving Jimmy Uso in the background.

After The Usos won their Tornado Tag Team Match with help from Reigns, the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion stepped into the ring and shared a private moment with Jey. According to LaGreca, the exchange was telling.

“Here’s Roman acknowledging Jey Uso, giving the hug to Jey Uso, saying, ‘Hey, man, this is your time now,’” LaGreca recapped. “He cursed. They had to mute out. I think he dropped an F bomb in there, like, almost like, ‘F— em, this is your time. Now, this is all about you take it. It’s yours.’ And he’s saying this right to Jey Uso.”

LaGreca interpreted this as Reigns validating Jey’s aggressive attitude, contrasting it with Jimmy’s efforts to act as a peacemaker. “His kindness is looked at as a weakness,” LaGreca explained. “Jey Uso is completely the opposite of that. And he’s actually saying, ‘You know what, I need to start thinking more like Roman does.’ And here’s Roman acknowledging Jey Uso.”

The hosts also debated Jimmy Uso’s reaction. Bully Ray questioned whether Jimmy’s uneasy expression was directed at Roman’s interference or at the special attention given to Jey. “Was Jimmy looking at Roman with that look in his eyes because Roman came down to make the save? Or was Jimmy looking at Roman with that look in his eyes because he’s paying too much attention to Jey Uso?” he asked.

Bully further criticized the booking, noting that The Usos needed help to win. “If Roman Reigns doesn’t come to the ring last night, The Usos lose that match,” he said, adding that a babyface tag team shouldn’t rely on outside interference to secure a victory.

Discussion also turned to The Bloodline’s internal hierarchy. LaGreca suggested that Jey is now clearly the number two figure behind Reigns. “I really feel like it’s those three guys, and Roman’s a definitive one, Jey’s a definitive two, and Jacob [Fatu], right now is a definitive three,” he explained, noting that Jimmy appeared to be outside the core power structure.

The segment ended with Reigns and Jey celebrating while Jimmy looked on, a deliberate visual in LaGreca’s view. “Maybe the WWE doesn’t want it to be that abrupt right now,” he said. “Maybe they’re planting a seed and they’re gonna let it water, and then we’re going to see what happens over the course of the next couple weeks.”
