The video, shared on McIntyre’s X account, focused first on Rhodes, who has been absent since McIntyre’s brutal attack on him during the August 22 edition of SmackDown. McIntyre mocked Rhodes’s absence and criticized WWE for not disclosing the full extent of his condition.
“God knows when he’s gonna be back. WWE sure as hell won’t reveal what’s actually wrong with their Golden Boy. Enjoy that title while you can, Cody, it’s a gift,” McIntyre said. “The winds of change are blowing through WWE, and we’re sick of the same Cody reruns, week after week.”
McIntyre then shifted his attention to Randy Orton, referencing their ongoing tensions. He compared Orton to “Old Yeller” and accused him of being “self-destructive” while suggesting that Orton is looking for a way out of WWE.
The Scottish Warrior also issued a warning to Orton, making it clear that any further ambushes on SmackDown would not end well for him.
