CM Punk Kicks Off RAW, Two Women’s Titles on the Line – Tonight’s WWE Raw comes live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, kicking off the road to Clash in Paris with high stakes and major fallout from SummerSlam Night 1.
The show will open with CM Punk addressing the events of Saturday night for the first time. Punk captured the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther in the SummerSlam main event, only for Seth Rollins to immediately cash in his Money in the Bank contract and leave with the gold. Fans will be eager to hear Punk’s response to the shocking turn of events.
Two women’s championships will also be defended:
- Women’s World Championship: New champion Naomi puts her title on the line against former champion IYO SKY in Sky’s one-on-one rematch. Naomi’s win at SummerSlam came in a triple threat that also included Rhea Ripley.
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch defends against Maxxine Dupri. Lynch is fresh off a successful defense against Lyra Valkyria, while Dupri aims for the biggest win of her young career as part of Alpha Academy.
In other announced action, Sami Zayn will face Rusev in what promises to be a hard-hitting encounter.
