While he hasn’t competed in nearly a year, Danielson has still managed to surprise fans with occasional appearances. Despite moments like these, Danielson has emphasized in interviews that he has no plans to return as an active wrestler, making this commentary role a way for him to stay connected to AEW’s biggest events without risking further injury.
