Nikki Bella Match, Naomi and GUNTHER Segments Added to 7/14 WWE RAW – Following a major weekend of events that included Saturday Night’s Main Event and WWE Evolution 2, WWE has officially updated the card for tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW. In addition to the previously announced #1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match, two major promo segments and a new singles match have been added to the show.
Earlier today, WWE released a video featuring RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, confirming that both GUNTHER and newly crowned WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi will address the WWE Universe during tonight’s broadcast.
Naomi is coming off a career-defining moment at WWE Evolution 2, where she shocked the world by cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase and defeating IYO SKY to capture the Women’s World Championship. This will be her first televised appearance as champion since the surprise cash-in.
Meanwhile, GUNTHER, fresh off a dominant win over Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event, is set to speak on his next chapter. While a Gauntlet Match has already been booked to determine his next challenger, the former World Heavyweight Champion will have a live microphone tonight to set the tone for what’s next.
Also announced is a singles match between Chelsea Green and Nikki Bella. The two last clashed during the women’s battle royal at WWE Evolution, and tensions between them have escalated. Tonight, they’ll meet one-on-one for the first time in what could be a breakout opportunity for both.
