Injury and Backstage News Following TNA Slammiversary – Coming out of a headline-making TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view, several updates have emerged regarding injuries, backstage reactions, and future plans involving key talents.

Moose is reportedly dealing with some soreness after taking a hard bump on the apron during his match. The spot affected his hip and back, but sources indicate he’s okay despite the stiffness and general wear.

AJ Francis also came out of the tag team ladder match without injury. After taking a particularly rough landing during the bout, Francis joked in response, “Big Dck = cushion,”* when asked about his condition.

Mustafa Ali is said to be fine as well, despite taking a dangerous-looking fall during his match. There is no indication of any lingering issues.

AJ Styles’ appearance had a strong backstage effect. Multiple sources say wrestlers crowded the curtain to witness the return live. Styles spent time interacting with various members of the roster throughout the evening, and his presence reportedly boosted overall morale.

On the contract front, Real1 (formerly Enzo Amore), Zilla Fatu, and Josh Bishop all appeared as part of 4th Rope content during Slammiversary weekend, but none of them are currently signed to TNA as of this writing.

Matt and Jeff Hardy, who closed the show by winning the TNA World Tag Team Titles, reportedly stayed at the venue until early the next morning. The brothers spent time signing autographs and taking photos with fans, drawing praise from those in attendance for their dedication.

Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade in WWE NXT, is not expected to return to in-ring competition until at least the end of 2025. Sources say she is currently taking personal time away from wrestling.

There has been backstage discussion about possibly booking a match between Gia Miller and Tessa Blanchard down the line. While Miller is currently working as an on-air broadcaster, she has previous in-ring experience, including stints in OVW and various indie promotions.

Finally, regarding the finish to the Slammiversary main event: Trick Williams’ victory was reportedly finalized by mid-week before the show, ending any speculation about last-minute creative changes.
