Another Huge Stipulation Added to Young Bucks – Strickland & Ospreay Match at AEW All In – On the 7/2 episode of AEW Dynamite 300, a high-stakes challenge was laid out that could reshape the power structure of All Elite Wrestling.

Following a trios victory over Bandido and The Paragon, The Young Bucks and Konosuke Takeshita were confronted by Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland. What began as a verbal back-and-forth quickly turned into a pivotal moment for AEW’s All In event on July 12.

Ospreay and Strickland initially stormed the ring, attempting to attack Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, but the EVPs retreated. Strickland grabbed a microphone and voiced his frustration, saying the question they posed the week prior still hadn’t been answered. He clarified that neither he nor Ospreay wanted EVP power—they didn’t trust themselves with it. “That power should belong to the fans and Tony Khan,” Strickland said.

Ospreay, ever the provocateur, called the Bucks “The Young Cucks,” prompting Matthew Jackson to respond sharply. “We’re the EVPs, not you,” he said, dismissing their challenge. “What do we get out of this?”

That’s when Ospreay upped the ante: if The Young Bucks accept the match, and win, he and Swerve will be barred from challenging for the AEW World Championship for one full year. While Strickland wasn’t thrilled about the stipulation, the Bucks seemed intrigued and demanded Swerve’s personal agreement before accepting.

After a brief hesitation, Strickland agreed.

The match is now official for AEW All In: if The Young Bucks lose, they must step down as Executive Vice Presidents of AEW. But if they win, both Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland will be prohibited from competing for the AEW World Title for the next 12 months.

This development raises the stakes not just for All In but for the future of AEW’s leadership and main event scene. With egos, careers, and control on the line, this clash could be one of the most important in AEW history.
