7/17 TNA iMPACT Results – The usual recap package airs showing highlights from last week’s show, and then the signature opening video and accompanying “Cross the Line” theme song plays. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome us to the final TNA Impact on the road to TNA Slammiversary.
We hear the familiar sounds of Moose’s theme music, as The System member and reigning TNA X-Division Champion makes his way to the ring accompanied by Alisha Edwards. Sami Callihan’s death metal is heard next, as the TNA veteran makes his way out.
Moose (w/Alisha Edwards) vs. Sami Callihan
After the bell sounds to get things officially off-and-running in the opening match of the evening, Moose takes the early offensive lead. Callihan gets in some offense for a minute or two after things spill out to the floor, however back in the ring, Moose hits a spear for the quick victory.
Once the match wraps up, we hear the single most annoying voice in the world saying the single most nails-on-a-chalkboard catchphrase. “Do you wanna know something,” asks Alisha Edwards, before handing the microphone off to Moose.
The TNA X-Division Champion talks about Leon Slater and their title tilt at TNA Slammiversary, and how Slater aims to make history by becoming the youngest TNA X-Division Champion of all-time. Moose says not only will that not happen, but Moose will win and go on to break his own record.
The record for the longest-reigning TNA Knockouts Champion of all-time. He sees Sami Callihan recovering and slowly getting back up, prompting him to ask Callihan what he’s still doing here. He says he used to be a “Death Machine,” but now he’s just a fat piece of trash.
He calls Callihan a “fat turd,” and orders him to take his boots off and leave them, and then get “his fat ass out of my ring.” Alisha starts yelling at him to do it. He begins unlacing them, but stops and rolls out of the ring.
Match Result: Moose defeated Sami Callihan
The System (JDC, Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) vs. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch & John Skyler)
Moose says now that the fat turd has left his ring, it’s time to introduce the greatest faction in all of wrestling — The System. With that said, The System theme song hits and out comes JDC, Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers.
They punk Callihan as he heads to the back and they head to the ring. The show heads to a commercial break, with The System vs. Order 4 coming up next. When the show returns, the theme for Mustafa Ali hits and out he comes.
Accompanying Ali are the rest of the Order 4 faction — The Great Hands duo of John Skyler and Jason Hotch, as well as Tasha Steelz. As they are heading to the ring, the strobe light hits and we hear the familiar music of WWE NXT faction Darkstate.
Darkstate hits the ring and attacks The System members in revenge from this past Tuesday night’s post-WWE NXT: The Great American Bash episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network. They beat down The System and leave, as Ali smiles and heads to the back with Order 4.
Match Result: No Contest
Gia Miller Interviews Dani Luna
Backstage, Gia Miller is standing by with Dani Luna. She asks her about her foray into singles competition in the TNA Knockouts division. She says she knows who she is and she feels she has everything needed to rule the Knockouts division.
She says Tessa Blanchard is simply someone in her way. The former Spitfire member walks off as the show heads into another commercial break. Luna vs. Blanchard will be in one-on-one action when the show returns.
Tessa Blanchard (w/Victoria Crawford) vs. Dani Luna
When the show returns, the lights in the Impact Zone go down. We hear the familiar sounds of the catchy-ass entrance tune for Tessa Blanchard. Blanchard makes her way to the ring accompanied by Victoria Crawford, as Hannifan plugs Blanchard vs. Indi Hartwell at TNA Slammiversary.
Her music dies down and the theme music for Dani Luna hits. Out comes the former green-haired member of Spitfire to continue her journey as a singles star in the expanding TNA Knockouts division. The bell sounds to get things started.
Early on, Luna snatches up a side headlock on Blanchard and takes her to the mat. Blanchard begins taking over on offense after Luna takes a bad bump on the back of her head. From there, Blanchard enjoys the next several minutes in the offensive lead.
Things remain this way until Luna hits a counter late in the match, effectively connecting with a slingshot Blue Thunder Bomb for a two-count. Luna looks for a Luna-Landing after that, however Crawford hops on the apron and gets involved, leading to Blanchard hitting her finisher for the pin.
Following the victory, Blanchard is joined by Crawford in the ring. The two begin a post-match attack of Luna. This continues until Indi Hartwell’s theme hits and she runs them off. Hartwell gets on the microphone.
Hartwell mentions Tessa has turned her back on every friend she’s ever had. She says, “You haven’t known me for six years, but at Slammiversary, you’re gonna get to know me …b*tch!” That’s how the quick post-match scene wraps up.

The IInspiration Address The Elegance Brand
Footage is shown from three weeks ago of The Elegance Brand making a scene at an autograph signing that The IInspiration were having, leading to a massive pull-apart brawl. After it wraps up, The IInspiration are shown backstage.
They say the difference between them and The Elegance Brand is they don’t have all of the same insecurities as them. They vow to beat them to become the new TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions at this Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view. The show heads to another break.
The Elegance Brand Confronted By Fatal Influence
When the show returns, The Elegance Brand make their way out. Ash By Elegance, Heather By Elegance, M By Elegance and George Iceman settle inside the squared circle. Ash gets on the microphone and rants about the money fans cost her by submitting footage of her autograph signing brawl.
Ash then goes on to complain about being one-half of the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions and the No. 1 Contender to the TNA Knockouts Championship, yet all she hears about is Jacy Jane and Masha Slamovich. She calls The Elegance Brand the most dominant female faction in pro wrestling.
As soon as she says that, the theme for WWE NXT female faction Fatal Influence hits. Out comes NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jane, accompanied by Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx. Jane says she was fine with everything Ash said until she claimed to have the most dominant female faction.
Masha Slamovich Confronts Jacy Jane Ahead Of TNA Slammiversary
As Jane and Ash continue to air out their issues, they are interrupted by the familiar sounds of the theme music for TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich. As she makes her way out, Ash gets on the mic again and says this drama has nothing to do with her.
Because of that fact, she’s not interested in it. With that said, The Elegance Brand head to the back, with Ash getting punked out by Slamovich as the Knockouts Champion makes her way into the ring. She gets in Jane’s face.
Slamovich tells her she thinks the idea of a champion is perfection. She looks in the mirror and wants to see perfection, whereas Slamovich looks in the mirror and sees the scars that made her the champion she is today.
She wears them proudly. She will be damned if she’s going into her hometown of Chicago this Sunday and letting an outsider take her title from her. The two finish the segment posing face-to-face with their respective titles held high in the air.
Jody Threat Checks On Dani Luna
Backstage, we see Dani Luna being checked on in the doctor’s room, as Indi Hartwell is by her side. In comes Luna’s former Spitfire tag-team partner, Jody Threat, acting on old familiar instincts. In panic-fashion, Threat asks Luna what’s wrong and if she’s okay. We head to another break.
Judas Icarus (w/Travis Williams & Eric Young) vs. Hometown Man
The show returns to footage of Joe Hendry and Mike Santana from their recent WWE NXT appearances. We then see a vignette showing Mike Santana working out as audio of an old voicemail his late father sent him years ago.
Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for The Northern Armory hits. Out comes Judas Icarus for scheduled singles action. He heads to the ring accompanied by his tag-team partner Travis Williams, and Northern Armory leader Eric Young.
The theme for his opponent plays to bring out the “mysterious” Hometown Man. The crowd loves the Hometown Man, as they should, as he is there hometown man. The bell sounds to get things officially off-and-running.
The Hometown Man fares well straight out of the gate, however after some interference and distractions from Williams at ringside, Icarus begins to shift the offensive momentum into his favor. Williams tries taking Hometown Man’s mask off during interference moments later.
After another minute or so, Hometown Man takes over on offense again. He hits a big high spot from the ring to the floor on Icarus. Back inside the ring, Hometown Man finishes things off with a pinfall. After the match, he avoids an attempted attack by Williams and Young.
Match Result: Hometown Man defeated Judas Icarus
nZo Is Coming To TNA Slammiversary …And He’s Not Coming Alone
After the Hometown Man and Judas Icarus bout wraps up, we cut to the second black-and-white “Paid For By Fourth Rope” nWo-style nZo vignette. nZo sings ‘Muffin Man’ and says if he wanted in with TNA Wrestling, he’d go to the boss man.
He says the only boss man named Tony he knows is Tony Soprano. nZo says either way he’s showing up to TNA Slammiversary. He says he’s not coming alone. He’ll bring a crew, starting with Zilla Fatu. He knows Bishop as well.
The security are more likely to help him if he jumps a guard rail. He says he ain’t afraid to tap somebody out. The show heads to another commercial break. Matt Cardona will be in action in the next match of the evening when the show returns.
Steve Maclin Issues Open Challenge
Steve Maclin is shown backstage with a special message when the show returns. He talks about being the reigning TNA International Champion and how he wants to live up to the name.
“Bulletproof” Maclin makes it clear that he “is willing to face anyone from any company internationally” and represent TNA in a title defense.
The System Help Matt Cardona With Darkstate
Matt Cardona’s theme hits as the show returns inside the Impact Zone. “Alwayz Ready” makes his way out and settles inside the squared circle. He brings up being attacked by Darkstate last week. He says he knows they’re in the building.
Cardona challenges them to come out. He says he’ll prove how he lives up to the “Alwayz Ready” moniker. Instead, the bell sounds and Cardona gets ready for scheduled singles action. Already in the ring is his opponent, Jake Painter.
As soon as they get close and get ready to start the match, the lights in the Impact Zone go out. Darkstate arrives for the second time tonight to ruin advertised action. This time, however, Brian Myers runs out to help his longtime friend Cardona.
The numbers disadvantage becomes too much, however other System members come out with weapons and run off the dominant NXT faction. The two teams end up in a standoff, with Cardona and The System standing in the ring staring them down. The show heads to another commercial break.
The Hardys: Win At TNA Slammiversary Or Go Home For Good?
The show returns to the iconic sounds of The Hardys. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy make their way out and settle inside the squared circle. Matt gets on the microphone and talks about how they promised themselves a long time ago that they would leave when they weren’t able to be the best.
Hardy says if he’s being honest with himself, he feels they might be slipping as of late. Jeff Hardy says Matt is right, bringing up how he lost recently to AJ Francis. Matt sarcastically thanks him for reminding him of that.
Matt Hardy says with that in mind, maybe if they don’t win in the four-way ladder match for the TNA World Tag-Team Championships at TNA Slammiversary this Sunday, they should hang ’em up and go home for good.
Fans chant “You still got it!” at The Hardys. Leon Slater’s theme hits and out he comes. He tells them the last few months with them have been the greatest moments of his career. He says they can’t be done yet. First Class duo AJ Francis and KC Navarro come out.
Francis mocks The Hardys. Matt tells Leon he needs to focus on his goal of becoming the youngest TNA X-Division Champion this Sunday and let them handle their own matters. Francis taunts Slater, telling him to leave. He does. The Nemeths theme hits.
Reigning TNA World Tag-Team Champions Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth come out. They taunt The Hardys as well. Fans break out in an anti-Nemeth chant, to which even Francis chimes in and says he agrees. The Rascalz finally come out and all four teams brawl with ladders. The show heads to another break.
Trick Williams & Frankie Kazarian vs. Joe Hendry & Mike Santana
It’s main event time!
When the show returns, the theme for Frankie Kazarian hits and the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” makes his way out and heads to the ring for the final match of the show. His partner, WWE NXT Superstar and current TNA World Champion Trick Williams comes out next.
The viral smash hit, “I Believe in Joe Hendry” hits next, and the crowd erupts and begins singing along as Joe Hendry makes his way out as the first of their opponents. His partner, Mike Santana, makes his custom entrance through the crowd next.
As soon as the bell sounds to get things officially off-and-running in this tag-team headliner and preview of TNA Slammiversary 2025, we see Hendry and Santana having trouble deciding which of them will start things off for their team.
As the two try and decide, TNA World Champion Trick Williams decides for them, as he charges across the ring and begins a sneak attack, taking it to Hendry. The show heads into a quick mid-match commercial break as things continue.
The show returns to Santana in the ring now on the defensive, as Kazarian and Williams utilize frequent tags to keep a fresh man on Santana at all times, and keep him as far away from his corner of the ring as possible.
Santana eventually fights back and buys himself enough time to make the much-needed tag. Hendry comes in off the hot tag and immediately shifts the offensive momentum in the match, taking it to Kazarian.
Hendry hits Kazarian with a big Fall-Away Slam. Williams hits the ring and Hendry hoists the big man up as well and does the same. He gets close to his corner as he nears the finish, only to stop and pose right in Santana’s face.
Santana tags himself in. Hendry didn’t like that. Santana hits a Rolling Buck-50 and Spin the Block and picks up the win for his team. Afterwards, Hendry and Santana argue. As they do, Trick Williams enters the picture and raises the TNA World Championship.
AJ Styles Coming To TNA Slammiversary?
It appears the show is coming to a close, with Tom Hannifan wrapping things up on commentary with the last image seemingly being TNA World Champion Trick Williams posing with the title in the ring next to his challengers, Joe Hendry and Mike Santana.
But then it happened.
Just before the show came to a close, a brief vignette played. In a dark looking boiler-room type of area, a special TNA box is shown. In Pulp Fiction glowing-briefcase fashion, the box opens and light shines out of it as footage of AJ Styles is shown.
The camera zooms inside the box, showing AJ Styles “Phenomenal’ ring gear. The logo for TNA Slammiversary flashes on the screen. That is how the TNA Slammiversary “go-home” episode of TNA Impact goes off the air.
