We take a look back at footage from this past weekend in Atlanta.
We are live from the Legacy Arena at The BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama, as new Women’s World Champion Naomi makes her way to the ring.
Naomi tells the crowd not to cheer for her because y’all weren’t feeling the glow but you are feeling her now. You don’t need to act like you saw it coming. You thought she would cash in on Tiffany. She says she warned everyone you don’t know her next move until she does it. That is why she is the World Champion. She says she is so done with everything on Smackdown. She tells Bianca to look at this. She didn’t betray her, she outgrew her. Naomi says her and Jade didn’t really want her to succeed. You wanted her as a friend, a partner, a third wheel, a flunky as long as it was convenient to you.
The crowd starts to ‘what’ and Naomi asks who has the upper hand, bitches and she cackles.
She says Jade might have gotten her lick back at Evolution, but Naomi says she made history. She might be new on Raw, but all of you raggedy heifers in the locker room, proceed with caution.
Rhea Ripley’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Rhea says she is not cautious. She is reckless and she is pissed. She had two goals. To beat Iyo Sky and get back the title. Now, all because of you, she still has those two goals. You made it onto her list.
Iyo Sky’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Iyo tells Rhea, with respect get in line. She says she walked into Evolution as the World Champion and she will get her title back from Naomi.
Naomi says she doesn’t know what Iyo said, but she tells them to get their entitled asses into the back of the line.
Naomi cackles and she tells Iyo to get out of her face.
Adam breaks up the Triple Threat Yelling and he says what he has to say pertains to all three of them. Adam congratulates Naomi and welcomes her to Raw. He says last night was the biggest moment of her career. He says he realizes that moment came at Iyo and Rhea’s expense. He said the match they had last night was absolute magic. In three weeks, it is SummerSlam and it will be two nights. Since it is bigger than ever, the attractions and box office has to be bigger. We need to blow the roof off Met Life Stadium. That is what they are going to do.
It will be Iyo Sky versus Rhea Ripley versus Naomi.
Backstage:
Judgment Day are in the room and Dom says he is worried about AJ but Finn says as long as he has the note, he is okay. Finn says they need to focus on the biggest stars, the women’s Tag Champs. Roxanne praises Roxanne and Raquel appreciates it. Finn brings up Asuka and Kairi so Finn asks Dom to escort them to the ring. Roxanne likes that idea. Dom wants to know why and Finn says they can show they are united and Liv cares about the titles.
Kairi Sane and Asuka vs. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Gonzalez
Raquel and Sane start things off and Sane with a waist lock and Raquel misse a back elbow. Sane tries for a DDT but Raquel blocks it and sends Sane to the mat. Asuka tags in and Asuka with a wrist lock. Asuka avoids a punch and she goes for the arm and applies a sleeper. Perez tags in when Raquel backs her into the corner. Raquel with a snap mare and Perez with a satellite into a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Perez with a slap and Asuka yells at her and she shows Perez how to connect with strikes and kicks. Asuka with Kawada kicks to the head and Sane tags in. Asuka and Sane with kicks followed by a bulldog and drop kick. Sane gets a near fall.
Sane with chops and a double sledge in the corner. Sane with a flying forearm into the corner for a near fall. Sane goes for a slingshot head scissors but Perez sends Sane to the apron. Perez with a kick and she tags in Raquel. Sane with a foerarm and she goes for a triangle. Asuka with a cross arm breaker on Perez and Raquel power bombs Sane onto Asuka but Sane holds on. Raquel with a hot shot. Raquel with a reverse chin lock. Perez tags in and Perez with an elbow into the corer and Raquel with a splash. Perez with a side Russian leg sweep while Raquel connects with a boot for a near fall. Perez with a wrist lock. Sane with forearms but she cannot get to the corner. Perez pulls Sane to the mat and she punches Sane.
Perez with an uppercut to the back against the ropes and then she hits a double jump moonsault for a near fall. Raquel tags in and punches Sane. Raquel with elbows to Sane and she gets a near fall. Raquel sends Sane face first to the mat when Sane tries to make the tag. Sane with a jaw breaker but Perez tags in and she stops Sane. Sane with an enzuigiri and Asuka tags in. Asuka with kicks to Perez and a hip to knock Raquel off the apron. Asuka with a shoulder tackle and a kick to Perez and then Raquel. Asuka iwth a pop up knee and a sliding knee to the head for a near fall. Sane tags in and she goes up top. Perez escapes the reverse DDT but Sane with a clothesline for a near fall. Raquel goes over the top rope to the floor.
Asuka tags in and Perez with an Irish whip. Sane tags in and Sane with an elbow drop while Asuka holds Perez up. Dom distracts the referee and the referee is late to make the count but Raquel pulls Sane off Perez and sends her into the ringside barrier. Asuka sends Raquel into the ring post. Asuka tags in and she goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Asuka iwth a back fist and kicks followed by a punch and thrust kick. Asuka with a German suplex. Dom gets on the apron again and Asuka with a back fist. Perez with a rollup and Raquel adds some extra leverage to get the three count.
Winners: Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is with Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker. She brings up Seth Rollins and she asks for an update. Paul says he does not have any information because it is too soon. He says Seth has until next June to cash in the briefcase. Until he crashes into the deadline, his health is not a relevant subject. He says Bron runs the gauntlet tonight and he emerges as the number one contender. Bron punches his stamp to SummerSlam. Bron will defeat Gunther at SummerSlam.
- Byron Saxton is in the interstitial concourse with LA Knight. He asks about Seth Rollins and his injury. Knight wants to talk to ya. He says he is in the building tonight. He says he came out with the ‘W’ on Saturday. The man busts up his knee. He wishes Seth a speedy recovery because it was last week he wanted to take his dignity and hurt him. He didn’t get a chance to hurt Seth because Seth hurt himself. He wants Seth to come back so he can hurt Seth the right way. Tonight he has a chance at the World Title at SummerSlam. He says he is not 100 percent, but he is showing up to run the gauntlet for his chance to be the number one contender.
Backstage:
Jackie is with Lyra to talk about her match against Bayley. Lyra says she is sick of being asked about Bayley. This match will put the Bayley talk to bed. It will be about her and Becky after tonight and you can talk about her title match at SummerSlam. Bayley says the loser goes to the back of the line so Bayley says she needs that. Bayley tells Lyra to get out of her way.

They lock up and Lyra with a side head lock take down. Lyra holds on when Bayley tries to send her off the ropes. Bayley puts Lyra on the turnbuckles and she puts Lyra on the head. Lyra with arm drags and then Bayley goes to the floor when Lyra leap frogs her. Lyra with a hip toss. Bayley with a slap and a rollup for the three count.

Bayley goes to the floor to slow down the pace. Bayley with a front face lock when Lyra goes for the legs. Lyra with a front face lock into an arm bar. Bayley gets out of the hold and applies a front face lock. Bayley with a snap mare and an elbow to the back followed by a sliding clothesline for a near fall. Lyra with a rollup for a near fall. Bayley with snake eyes and forearms followed by a kick in the corner. Bayley with an arm bar. Lyra with forearms and Bayley fires back. They go back and forth with Bayley hitting a knee. Lyra with an enzuigiri and clothesline followed by a flurry of kicks. Bayley pushes Lyra away on a tornado DDT attempt. Lyra drop kicks Bayley into the turnbuckles and hits a tornado DDT into a fisherman’s suplex and she gets a near fall.
Lyra kicks Bayley in the corner and Bayley with a hard Irish whip. Bayley with a clothesline to the back of the neck for a near fall. Bayley sends Lyra into the turnbuckles and Lyra goes down. Bayley with a forearm to the back and a double leg take down. Lyra kicks Bayley away. Lyra with a drop kick through the ropes. Lyra pulls Bayley back onto the apron and she tries to get Bayley up on her shoulders. Bayley with a back drop driver onto the apron. Bayley with a spinning side slam for a near fall. Bayley pie faces and punches Lyra. Bayley goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Lyra blocks it and she counters a La Magistral into a rollup for the three count.

Bayley with a running knee for a near fall. Lyra rolls to the floor. Bayley sends Lyra back into the ring and gets a near fall. Bayley with a rear chin lock. Bayley with a kick and Lyra goes to the floor. Lyra blocks the drop kick through the corner and Lyra slams the leg into the apron and ring post. Lyra with a surfboard and she stomps on the knees. Lyra gets a near fall. Lyra hyper-extends the leg and gets a near fall. Lyra with a dragon screw and she continues to work on the leg. Bayley with punches and Lyra with a forearm. Lyra iwth a dragon screw in the corner. Bayley sends Lyra to the apron and hits a cutter in the ropes.
Lyra with a rollup but Bayley with a knee to the head. Bayley goes for the belly-to-belly suplex but Lyra blocks it. Bayley blocks a monkey flip and Bayley puts Lyra on the turnbuckles. Lyra goes for the leg drop but Bayley catches her and hits a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Lyra sets for a superplex but Bayley knocks Lyra to the mat. Lyra with a forearm and she hits a sit out Iconoclasm followed by a Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Bayley kicks Lyra away and Bayley is sent to the apron. Byley pulls Lyra to the apron and Bayley goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Lyra blocks it. Lyra goes for the leg and Bayley with forearms. Lyra with shots to the leg and she wraps the leg in the ropes. Lyra with a fisherman’s suplex on the apron and Bayley falls to the floor.
Bayley gets back into the ring and she kicks Lyra away but Lyra beats the count. Bayley with a rollup for a near fall. Lyra with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Lyra avoids a splash in the corner and Lyra iwth a forearm. Bayley kicks Lyra off the apron to the floor. Bayley goes for the drop kick through the ropes and Lyra blocks her again. Bayley kicks Lyra away. Bayley goes for a sunset flip power bomb and sends Lyra into the ring steps. Bayley sends Lyra back into the ring and Bayley goes up top for the elbow drop and hits it to the back and Bayley gets a near fall. Bayley with a cross face. Lyra tries to get to the ropes. Bayley kcks her and Lyra into the center of the ring and Lyra with Night Wing for the three count.

After the match Becky LYnch makes her way to the ring for the obligatory champion holds the belt face off photo opportunity.
Backstage:
Jackie is with Stephanie Vaquer and she asks her about her victory. She says she came to WWE to be a champion. In Paris, she will become the champion. Jackie says she will face the World Champion. Chelsea shows up and she says she should represent WWE in Paris. Who is better to represent the company? La Primavera, which means loser or La Chelsea which means winner. Stephanie tells Chelsea to take her best shot but Chelsea says she is facing a hall of famer so she can look, but she can’t touch.
Backstage:
Karrion Kross says your favorite bad guys are here to save the day. Where is Sami Zayn? He is hurt. He asks Scarlett if she believes that. She says he is a liar. Kross says he agrees. All of this big talk about who is a coward, falls flat on his face and gets up again. Sami says he is hurt. Kross says he gave Sami an ultimatum and Sami has folded. He tells Sami to stay at home and don’t come back until you can say the words that Kross told the truth.
Nikki Bella vs. Chelsea Green
They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Nikki with a clean break. They lock up and Nikki with a take down. Nikki with a rollup for a near fall. Nikki with a drop toe hold. Green with a slap and Nikki chases Green but Green gets to the ropes. The referee pulls Nikki off and Greenw ith a punch. Nikki with a head scissors take down and a slap. Nikki avoids a clothesline and Nikki with a suplex. Green rolls to the floor. Alba and Piper run security for Green as they return to the ring. Nikki with forearms. Green with an Irish whip and Nikki with an elbow. Nikki is put in the ropes and Green with a lungblower that sends Nikki to the floor.
Green sends Nikki into the ringside barrier. They return to the ring and Green sends Nikki face first into the mat for a near fall. Green with a knee in Nikki’s back. Nikki with a face buster. Nikki with clothesline and an Irish whip. Nikki with a clothesline into the corner followed by a round kick off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Nikki tries to get Green up but Green escapes. Green with a neck breaker for a near fall. Green sets for UnprettiHer but Nikki counters with an EdgeOMatic. Nikki knocks Alba and Piper to the floor. Green goes for a rollup but Nikki escapes. Nikki gets Green up for a TKO for the three count.
Winner: Nikki Bella
After the match, Piper attacks Nikki with a shoudler tackle. Alba with a thrust kick. Piper with a Black Hole Slam and they help Green up.
Stephanie Vaquer’s music plays and she comes to the ring and kicks Alba and hits a thrust kick. Vaquer with a drop kick to Piper and a back heel kick to Alba followed by a butterfly face bustet. Vaquer helps Nikki up and they hug.
Backstage:
Adam Pearce is in the back with The New Day and Grayson Waller. They are here to bargain and he asks Walker to present the gift and it is two wigs. Adam says we will find out who gets a chance to earn a title match next week and he tells them not to flip their wigs. Adam says Dom must be feeling great after what we saw at ringside. Dom says it was the adrenaline and he says he is not cleared. He has the note and Adam says that he heard Dom is going to be re-evaluated. If he is okay to go, he will have a title match against AJ Styles at SummerSlam.
Finn says there is no way they will be cleared. Dom sees AJ and AJ says he sees Dom. Dom says he is not cleared.
— Penta is in the back and Gunther stops by to stare at him before he walks toward the ring.
- Byron is with American Made. Byron brings up last week’s match with El Grande Americano. Byron asks about the perfomance and the rumors. Ivy says it is clearly Ludwig Kaiser and they say everyone knows that. Byron brings up the Chad Gable rumors. Ivy says they are not here to talk about Grande Americano. Julius says they are better than anyone else. Ivy says that Chad told her to bring them to the top. They are going to do it with the tag team division and the women’s division, especially Stephanie Vaquer.
Backstage:
Jackie is with Rusev and she brings up Rusev’s victory over Sheamus. She asks what is next. Rusev people says people call him God, but maybe he is a saint getting rid of Irish snakes. Sheamus shows up and he says he is not here to ambush Rusev. He says he talked to Pearce and they are going to have a rematch. Sheamus says they weren’t done after that. You have to save room for the main course. Sheamus says his catchphrase is banger affer banger. Rusev says he is going after gold, not gingers.
Backstage:
Gunther makes his way to the ring. Gunther says he is in a great mood today. This past Saturday, he retired Bill Goldberg. He says you are not the brightest so he tells them Bill is not here tonight. Gunther says he held every promise before the match. He bullied him, humiliated, tore him down, and he made Goldberg pass out. There is only one question to raise now… WHO’S NEXT?
He says we are going to have an answer soon. In the next moments, he will take a seat in a suite and watch five of the finest competitors will fight for his amusement to determine his opponent at SummerSlam. He says he does not care who the opponent is because when the bell rings, they are all…
Bron Breakker’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring with the Keeper of the Case, Paul Heyman.
Paul offers his hand to Gunther and Gunther shakes it.
Paul does the official introduction for himself but Gunther stops him. He says he is aware of who he is and he made his points. He says he does not care what Paul has to say and he says he is going to leave. Bron stops Gunther and Paul asks him to stick around because this applies to him.
Paul says Bron runs the gauntlet to become the number one contender and he is going to win the title from Gunther. He says that is no easy task. You haven’t been speared until you have been speared by Bron Breakker. Paul says Bron is the next big thing. Bron is the big dog. This is Bron’s yard. You aren’t looking at another contender. He’s a Steiner. That means he is going to break through every barrier in front of him and break through the glass ceiling and break your ass at SummerSlam. There is going to be a new World Champion and his name is Bron Breakker.
Bron allows Gunther to leave the ring.

Segment One: Bron Breakker versus Penta
Penta with punches and kicks. Bron with a back drop and he connects with shoulders in the corner. Penta with a head scissors but Bron sends Penta to the apron. Penta with an enzuigiri and he goes up top and hits a cross body. Penta with a chop. Bron with a WARP clothesline and Penta rolls to the apron. Penta pulls down the ropes and Bron goes to the floor. Penta with a flip dive onto Bron. Penta kicks Bron against the ringside barrier. Penta sends Bron into the announce table. They return to the ring and he kicks Bron in the corner. Penta with an elbow. Bron with a kick and he punches Penta from the turnbuckles. Penta goes under and pulls Bron off the turnbuckles. Penta with a running thrust kick for a near fall. They go to the floor and Penta kicks Bron in the leg. Bron Irish whips Penta into the ringside barrier.
Bron sends Penta into the ring steps. Bron with a knee and he presses Penta and hot shots him onto the ring steps. Bron sends Penta back into the ring. Bron kicks Penta and hits a suplex for a near fall and he does push ups because he might have seen an uncle do that. Bron sends Penta to the apron. Penta with punches and he drops Bron on the top rope. Bron with an exploder for a near fall. Bron with knees and a back drop. Bron with another back drop. Bron sets for a spear but Penta with a thrust kick. Penta with a wraparound bulldog and a kick in the corner. Penta with a headstand hesitation kick.
Penta with a lungblower for a near fall. Penta signals for the destroyer but Bron with a jumping knee. Penta escapes from Bron’s shoulders and he kicks Bron. Penta comes off the ropes and Bron with a spear for the three count.
Segment Two: Bron Breakker versus LA Knight
Knight starts off with a punch and they go back and forth until Knight gets the advantage. Bron with an Irish whip but Knight with a clothesline out of the corner. Knight goes for a suplex and Bron blocks it. Bron goes for a suplex and Knight lands on his feet and he hits a neck breaker and gets a near fall. Bron sends Knight to the floor and Knight pulls Bron to the floor and he sends Bron’s shoulder into the ring post. Bron presses Knight but Knight escapes. Knight clotheslines Bron over the top rope and he drop kicks Bron through the ropes. Knight sends Bron into the announce table and he sends Bron onto the announce table. Bron sends Knight into the announce table. Bron drops Knight onto the announce table.
Knight with an elbow and then Knight goes to the turnbuckles but Bron pulls Knight off the turnbuckles. Bron kicks and chokes Knight. Bron catapults Knight’s throat into the bottom rope. Bron with shoulders in the corner. Bron with a hard Irish whip. Bron runs Knight into the ring post. Bron with Irish whips and Knight goes down again. Bron chokes Knight in the ropes. Knight with punches and Bron with a knee to the midsection for a near fall. Bron with a waist lock. Knight gets back to his feet and he connects with elbows. Both men with clotheslines at the same time and both go down. Knight with jabs and a clothesline. Knight with a leaping neck breaker. Knight with a kick and DDT. Knight goes to the turnbuckles for the catchphrase double jump elbow drop and he hits it for a near fall.
Knight goes for BFT but Bron escapes. Knight counters a Frankensteiner with a power bomb for a near fall. Bron punches Knight when Knight goes for a belly-to-back suplex. Bron rakes the eyes when Knight goes for BFT. Bron with a double knee gut buster. Bron with a spear for the three count.
Segment Three: Bron Breakker versus Jey Uso
Bron samples a beverage while he waits for Jey to get to the ring. Jey with punches and a spit punch. Jey clotheslines Bron over the top rope to the floor and he hits a suicide dive. Jey has them play his music as he poses instead of TRYING TO WIN THE MATCH?
The referee checks on Bron and he thinks about going to the floor but he wants to raise his hands up and down.
Jey punches Bron and they return to the ring. Jey punches Bron in the corner. Jey with a punch and he gets a near fall. Bron punches Jey on the turnbuckles and he sets for a superplex but Jey blocks it and head butts Bron to the mat. Jey with a cross body for a near fall. Jey with a hip into the corner followed by an enzuigiri. Jey with a running hip into the corner and he gets a near fall. Jey goes up top and Bron stops him. Jey blocks a superplex and sends Bron to the mat. Bron with a Frankensteiner for a near fall. Bron tries for a spear but Jey with two super kicks. Jey with a spear for a near fall. Jey goes up top and Reed pulls Jey off the turnbuckles and Bron with a spear for the three count.
Segment Four: Bron Breakker versus CM Punk
Punk with punches and an Irish whip followed by a knee and another knee to send Bron to the floor. Punk backs Bron into the apron and punches him. Punk sends Bron back into the ring. Punk goes up top and he hits a double sledge. Punk goes up top and hits another double sledge. Punk with crossfaces in the ropes. Bron rolls to the floor. Punk goes to the floor and he hits a flying forearm against the announce table. They return to the ring and Punk with an arm wringer and a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Punk with a hard Irish whip. Punk with a reverse atomic drop and Punk goes up top but Bron catches Punk off the turnbuckles and hits an exploder.
Bron with shoulders in the corner. Bron with a running knee to the head. Bron punches Punk and catapults him into the bottom rope. Bron with an exploder. Bron with a suplex for a near fall. Punk with elbows and he gets Bron on his shoulders but Bron escapes and he connects with a back breaker for a near fall. Bron wants to make Punk look good and he makes him an offer. Bron with an Irish whip and he runs into a boot. Bron with a Frankensteiner but Punk holds on and rolls through for a sunset flip and he gets a near fall. Punk with a round kick to the temple and both men go down. Punk with punches and Punk with a leg lariat. Punk with a swinging neck breaker and a running knee into the corner. Punk with a short arm clothesline.
Punk goes to the turnbuckles and Reed goes up to the apron and Punk kicks him away. Punk goes for the elbow drop and he hits it for a near fall. Punk with the Anaconda Vice. Bron tries to rake the eyes and Reed with an elbow drop to Punk. Reed punches Punk and…
Jey Uso returns to the ring and he punches Reed. Jey wtih a super kick to Reed and he hits a suicide dive to Reed. Bron sets for a spear but Punk with a kick and GTS for the three count.
Winner: CM Punk
After the match, Bronson Reed ambushes Punk and Jey Uso runs in to help Punk. Uso beats on Reed and is met with a spear by Breakker. Breakker then spears Punk and Reed then places both Uso and Punk beside each other goes to Tsunami them when Roman Reigns’ music hits and he makes his way out to the ring. Breakker and Reed go to attack Reigns but Reigns beats on Breakker and then hits a Samoan Drop on Reed and Superman Punches Breakker. Reed then gets speared by Reigns. Reigns helps up Jey Uso and then Reigns locks eyes with Punk and they just stare at each other. Reigns, Punk and Uso stand in the ring as Breakker, Reed and Heyman regroup at the entry way and then end credits start to roll.

7/14 WWE RAW Preview
WWE RAW rolls into Birmingham tonight with major fallout from Evolution and Saturday Night’s Main Event, setting the stage for SummerSlam and beyond2.
Fresh off his successful defense against Goldberg, World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER will appear on the show to address his victory and find out who his next challenger will be.
