The close-up of Flair’s forehead likely references his ongoing fight with skin cancer. He has openly discussed undergoing multiple procedures to treat the disease, which is a common concern among wrestlers exposed to intense lighting and long-term sun exposure. In 2023, Flair confirmed he was receiving skin cancer treatment for the second time in just three years.
The abdominal photo is a stark reminder of Flair’s near-death experience in August 2017. That summer, he was placed in a medically induced coma due to complications from a bowel obstruction, which led to multiple organ failures, including kidney failure. The emergency surgery he endured left him in critical condition for days, and doctors gave him a slim chance of survival. Remarkably, he pulled through, calling the experience one of the most difficult battles of his life.
