Big Update on AEW Viewership on Max and TBS – AEW Dynamite is drawing significant viewership numbers across both TBS and the Max streaming service, according to a report from BJ Bethel of SEScoops. Within the first 24 hours after airing live, Dynamite reportedly garners around 500,000 viewers on Max. When combined with its linear television audience on TBS, the show reaches between 1 million and 1.2 million viewers within a single day.
Additionally, Bethel notes that Dynamite averages approximately 60 million minutes watched per episode, with minor fluctuations depending on the week. Notably, the show has outperformed some major NHL games on Max, indicating strong engagement on the streaming platform.
Meltzer’s Viewership Insights
Dave Meltzer provided further data on AEW’s overall viewership. He stated:
“Basically, the number 1.5 million for Dynamite and 1 million for Collision is the number of viewers on a typical show that will watch a portion of the show on television within a couple of days.”
These numbers suggest that AEW programming continues to attract a sizable audience across multiple platforms.
AEW’s TV Deal with Warner Bros. Discovery
AEW Dynamite has been available on both TBS and Max since January 2025, following a new multi-year media rights agreement between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery. This deal, which runs through the end of 2027, is valued at approximately $185 million per year. The agreement has provided AEW with increased exposure through streaming while maintaining its presence on cable television.
As AEW continues its run on TBS and Max, these viewership figures highlight the promotion’s ability to retain and expand its audience across multiple platforms.
