MJF Not Expected to Reunite The Dynasty in AEW – Despite recent speculation, MJF is not expected to reunite his former MLW faction, The Dynasty, in AEW anytime soon. This update comes after MJF’s interaction with MVP on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, where he was handed a Hurt Syndicate business card, hinting at a potential storyline development.
Dynasty Reunion Speculation
Talk of a Dynasty reunion emerged following the recent free agency of Alexander Hammerstone, whose TNA contract expired on March 7, 2025. Hammerstone’s availability led to speculation about a potential AEW signing and a reunion with MJF. The two were founding members of The Dynasty in MLW, alongside Richard Holliday, Grogan, and Gino Medina.
However, Sean Ross Sapp addressed this speculation during a Fightful Q&A, clarifying that there are no current plans for Hammerstone and Holliday to join AEW.
“With MJF getting the business card from MVP, is there a chance MJF reaches out to Hammerstone and Holliday, reforms The Dynasty to go against Hurt Syndicate? I asked about this and was told that that’s not the plan as of now and that those two are not signed to AEW. I wish they were. I think they’d both be great in AEW.”
Focus on The Hurt Syndicate
For now, MJF’s storyline appears to be centered on his interaction with MVP and The Hurt Syndicate, rather than reviving his MLW faction. With no confirmation of Hammerstone or Holliday signing with AEW, a Dynasty reunion remains unlikely at this time.
