Andrade Fuels WWE Return Speculation Amid Ongoing Mystery Teasers

Andrade Fuels WWE Return Speculation Amid Ongoing Mystery Teasers – As WWE continues to roll out a series of cryptic vignettes teasing a potential return or debut, fan speculation has shifted toward another familiar name — Andrade.

The former WWE and AEW star has suddenly become a key figure in the online guessing game surrounding WWE’s recent “walking” teaser clips, which have featured nothing but the feet of an unknown individual. The videos, released over Sunday and Monday, have sparked countless theories, and Andrade’s recent social media activity has only added to the intrigue.

Andrade was abruptly released by WWE earlier this year before reappearing in AEW just two weeks later. However, his AEW run stalled due to confusion and reported disputes related to the non-compete clause from his WWE contract. In the days leading up to the WWE teasers, several reports suggested that Andrade could be on his way back to WWE, potentially benefiting from that same contractual situation.

While WWE has not named anyone in connection to the videos, Andrade’s social media behavior has fans talking. During the initial wave of vignettes, he posted to Instagram: “I always answer work calls faster than my family calls, even when I’m on vacation. Enjoy life and take care of your family.” The timing of the post immediately caught attention as speculation about the mysterious clips spread online.

On Monday, Andrade added fuel to the fire with another post — a reflective video where he discussed his 22-year journey in wrestling. “On October 18, 2003, my debut as a professional wrestler. My first paycheck was $4 — 80 pesos Mexicanos — I was only 13 years old,” Andrade recalled. “When I was in Saudi Arabia, my mother passed away, and I didn’t get back in time to say goodbye. This year in Europe, my father almost died, and I wasn’t there anyway, and more.”

He concluded with: “These are things you do because I love the business, and this happens in many companies.”

In the accompanying footage, Andrade revisited key places from his early life and career, including his hometown of Gómez Palacio, Durango. “I open up to the public so you can see where I started — my parents’ home, my first match, the place where I used to train,” he said. “I feel proud to be from Gómez Palacio, Durango. I hope you enjoyed this video.”

The emotional video, combined with the timing of WWE’s mysterious campaign, has only intensified speculation that Andrade El Idolo could be the man behind the teasers — or at least on his way back to WWE television.
