WWE Considering Championship Match for Elimination Chamber – WWE’s Elimination Chamber premium live event is set for Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. While only two matches have been officially announced, speculation continues about additional bouts being added to the card.
So far, two high-stakes Elimination Chamber matches have been confirmed. The men’s match will feature John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and two more competitors yet to be determined. The women’s match will see Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Bianca Belair, Bayley, and two additional participants vying for victory. The winners of these respective matches will secure World Championship opportunities at WrestleMania 41 in April.
According to WrestleVotes, there is growing speculation that WWE could include an Intercontinental Championship match on the event lineup. During a recent edition of SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Q&A, the insider source mentioned that Shinsuke Nakamura might defend his title at the event.
“I’ve heard rumblings of a Shinsuke Nakamura title defense. [I] don’t know the opponent, but that’s one that I’ve heard could take place at the SkyDome,” WrestleVotes stated.
While Nakamura’s potential challenger remains unknown, this would mark a significant defense for the reigning champion as WWE continues its road to WrestleMania. More matches for the event are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
