LIVE 2/3 WWE RAW on Netflix Results – We see the participants in the Elimination Chamber qualifying matches walk in the arena, while Charlotte Flair walks in a hallway. We look back at the Royal Rumble weekend in Indianapolis.
We are live from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, as Royal Rumble winner, Jey Uso, makes his way to the ring through the crowd.
He stops by the commentary desk to do the three-YEET cool-guy handshake with Pat McAfee and Michael Cole, the latter of whom successfully completed all-three slaps and looked like a proud father for doing so.
Uso finally settles in the ring after a super long entrance, and when his music dies down, fans chant “One more time, YEET!” The music hits again, Uso jumps on the ropes, McAfee jumps on the commentary desk and we have a second impromptu YEET-fest.
The music dies down again and fans break out in a loud “You deserve it!” chant. Behind his YEET-tastic sunglasses, it appears Uso is getting legitimately choked up and emotional. Fans roar and then do another “YEET!”
He takes his sunglasses off. No tears, but clearly emotional and feeling the love from the enthusiastic Cleveland crowd.
Jey thanks everyone for that. He says he doesn’t know what to say, besides that (as the crowd YEETs). Jey wants to talk. He says he came into the game almost fifteen years ago. He tried to make a good living with his twin brother to become pro wrestlers. He carried on the family legacy. Fast forward to the pandemic and he goes with his cousins. He is part of the Bloodline that was fire. Cool chapters in his career. He says he was not confident in himself to so the singles star thing. He says he didn’t have it, but coming out, tonight, he’s got it now.
Jey says he worked really hard to get to this spot. He worked hard to get to this position. He says he got it because every single one of you. He thanks everyone. Because of you, he is the 2025 Royal Rumble winner. He is going to the main event at Wrestlemania and it is just him Uce.
Gunther’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Gunther says he would offer his congratulations here, but for what? In reality, he says he is disappointed. Quite honestly, this possible match up doesn’t appeal to him. Let’s be honest. You can’t even lace his boots. Gunther says he is the World champion and he learned box office and how to make all of them believe that he is barely holding on to the title. Gunther says he is always in control. He tells Jey that this time, he refuses to do this with him again.
Gunther asks if Jey knows what it means to hold this championship? He says he is in the process of building a legacy for himself. Beating you does nothing to add to his legacy. Gunther says beating Cena, Roman, or CM Punk would have added something to his legacy. Gunther tells Jey the situation is clear. You have everything to gain and Gunther says he has everything to lose. If you choose him, you force yourself to give Gunther something he has to gain from this. Every week will be hell with Wrestlemania being the most horrible display of violence this business has ever seen. He says he will hurt Jey and he will put him down like a diseased dog.
The good thing is that you have options. He tells Jey to consider that.
Jey stops Gunther before he leaves the ring. He asks if Gunther is tired. Jey says he is tired. People telling him what he can and can’t be. He is just a tag team guy. He’s not supposed to be in the main event. He’s not supposed to win the Royal Rumble. Jey says he will go to Smackdown and holla at Cody. Whoever he chooses, he is walking into Wrestlemania as the 2025 Royal Rumble winner. He guarantees that he is walking out of Wrestlemania as the champion.
– Michael Cole talks about John Cena and we see his comments at the press conference.
