Rumor Killer on LA Knight Injury – LA Knight was originally scheduled to appear at a meet and greet event hosted by Luekens Wine & Spirits on December 17. However, the retailer announced via its Twitter/X account that Knight would be unable to attend due to an alleged injury.
The announcement read: “Important Update🚨While we’re sad to announce that WWE Superstar LA Knight is unable to attend the December 27th event due to injury, we’ve got great news: WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has stepped up to replace him! We’ll be making an announcement shortly with details—stay tuned!”
This announcement sparked concern among fans, as Knight has been a key figure on WWE SmackDown in recent months. The news followed his recent loss of the United States Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series: WarGames. Knight’s most recent match was a six-man tag team bout taped for the December 15 episode of SmackDown.
However, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the initial claim of injury may not be accurate. WWE sources reportedly stated that Braun Strowman was brought in as Knight’s replacement for the event because Knight had never been officially approved for the appearance. The report also clarified that Knight is not injured.
As of now, LA Knight has not addressed the situation publicly. While fans await further clarification, the situation appears to have been a mix-up rather than a health issue.
