Bobby Lashley Makes AEW Debut in Handicap Match – On the November 20 episode of AEW Dynamite, former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley made his in-ring debut for AEW in a two-on-one handicap match against Cheeseburger and Joe Keyes. This marked Lashley’s first match since being sidelined with an injury during his time in WWE, where he last competed on a live event on May 5. After his departure from WWE, Lashley signed with AEW and made his debut at AEW Fright Night Dynamite.
Lashley showcased his dominant strength from the moment the match began, overpowering both Cheeseburger and Keyes. Despite a brief rally attempt by Keyes, Lashley quickly put an end to it, delivering a Spear to Keyes and locking him into the Hurt Lock for the submission victory.
However, after the match, Swerve Strickland blindsided Lashley with a chain, attacking him with a brutal combination of moves, including the House Call and Swerve Stomp. This attack set up a confrontation between the two, as Lashley will face Strickland at AEW Full Gear on November 23. This will be Lashley’s AEW pay-per-view debut, adding even more anticipation to the upcoming match.
