Takeshita tags in, and Davis gets him on his shoulders to send him crashing into a kick from Ospreay. Ospreay and Davis then deliver an assisted cutter to Takeshita and get him up, but Cage and Archer come to Takeshita’s aid and take down Ospreay and Davis. Fletcher beats down Ospreay as Hobbs slowly makes his way back down to ringside. Fletcher meets him on the entrance ramp, but Hobbs turns him inside out with a clothesline.

Hobbs tags in and turns Takeshita inside out with a clothesline. Hobbs then levels Archer and Cage with a double clothesline, then hits a scoop powerslam on Archer and tags in Davis.

Takeshita looks to rock Davis with a knee, but Davis sees him coming and delivers a piledriver to him. He goes for a pin, but Fletcher kicks out. Fletcher gets in Davis’ face, but Davis rains down right hands on him. Ospreay delivers a standing Spanish Fly to Fletcher. He looks to follow it up with the Hidden Blade, but accidentally hits Davis. Takeshita then exposes his knee and connects with a running knee on Davis for the win.

Winners: Konosuke Takeshita, Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher & Lance Archer

Backstage With The Death Riders, Darby Allin

We shoot to Jon Moxley and The Death Riders, who are shown sitting around in an empty stairwell. Mox talks about how there’s more going on than people realize. He tells Orange Cassidy his fate is already sealed for this Saturday, and tells Darby Allin his is, too.

Claudio Castagnoli talks in a foreign language to send a message to Darby. We then shoot to Darby in a different part of the building, where he vows to take out The Death Riders one-by-one, starting with Castagnoli tonight. On that note, we shift gears and head into another commercial break.

Back from the break, we see The Hurt Syndicate arrive to the arena. MVP announces that Bobby Lashley will be in action later tonight, but Swerve Strickland attacks Lashley from behind.

We Hear From Adam Cole

Cole asks who’s ready for storytime with him, then says he wishes that he was the one who would be facing MJF at Full Gear this Saturday. He says MJF did everything he could to avoid meeting him in the ring, then says Roderick Strong still succeeded and will give MJF the beating that he would.

The Conglomeration’s music hits and Kyle O’Reilly makes his way out. He recalls facing Cole in their second match ever in Reading fourteen years ago, and says the two of them know each other well. O’Reilly tells Cole that his obsession and crusade against MJF has to end. He says Cole needs to stop having his friends fight his battles, and says he doesn’t want to see his friends – Strong included – end up hurt. He says there are many people willing to help Cole.

Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida

The bell rings and the two shake hands with one another. Statlander sends Shida crashing into the mat face first, but Shida responds with an arm drag to her and connects with a step-up knee on Statlander in the corner. She rains down right hands on her, but Statlander trips her and connects with a standing moonsault. Statlander then wears Shida down with a shoulder submission and delivers a jumping knee to her as she’s draped from the apron.

Back from the break, Shida sends Statlander crashing into the mat. Statlander returns the favor, but Shida rolls up Statlander. Statlander kicks out, but Shida sends her crashing into the mat with a Falcon Arrow. Shida connects with a German suplex on Statlander and sets up for the Katana, but Statlander sees her coming and catches her with Saturday Night Fever for the win.

Winner: Kris Statlander

After the match, Statlander helps up Shida but Mercedes Mone’s music hits and she makes her way out alongside Kamille. She says Statlander scored an incredible victory tonight, and brags about being TBS Champion longer than Statlander. She orders that Kamille attack Statlander, but Statlander and Shida level her. Mone jump Statlander and looks to land a backstabber on her, but Statlander counters into Saturday Night Fever on her and holds up the TBS Championship.

We then head backstage and see Bobby Lashley and MVP attack someone that they think is Swerve Strickland.

Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP and Shelton Benjamin) vs. Cheeseburger and Joe Keys in a 2-On-1 Handicap Match

Lashley drags Cheeseburger into the ring, and the bell sounds. Lashley connects with a DDT on Cheeseburger, then lands a clothesline on him and gets him up on one shoulder. He sends him crashing into the mat and goes for a pin, but Keys breaks the fall. Lashley sends Keys crashing into the mat, then delivers a Spear and cinches in The Hurt Lock on him. Keys fades.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

After the match, Swerve Strickland’s music hits and Prince Nana appears on the entrance ramp. Benjamin goes after him, but Strickland emerges from under the ring and delivers a House Call to Benjamin. He follows it up with a Swerve Stomp.

Darby Allin vs. Claudio Castagnoli

The bell rings and Allin sends Castagnoli crashing into the mat with an arm drag. Allin looks to land a Coffin Drop off the ropes on the outside, but Castagnoli intercepts him and sends him crashing into one of the barricades. He follows it up with a running uppercut that sends him crashing over the barricade, then gets him back inside the ring in a delayed vertical suplex position.

Back from the break, Castagnoli sends Allin crashing into the corner and whips him into one of the barricades on the outside. He dumps Allin back into the ring, but Allin rolls out of the other side. Allin traps Castagnoli into the ring apron, then flies through the ropes to level him on the outside.

Allin dumps Castagnoli back in the ring and ascends up the ropes, but Castagnoli trips him and hits a Gut Wrench suplex off the ropes. Allin rolls up Castagnoli, but Castagnoli kicks out. Allin counters into a Code Red to Castagnoli and pins him, but Castagnoli kicks out and fires off uppercuts on Allin in the corner. He fires off right hands and left hands on his midsection, then sends him crashing off the apron with a big boot and sends him crashing into the ring steps with The Swing. He then dumps him over the commentary desk and clears it, then delivers a Gorilla Press to him through the table in the timekeeper’s area. Castagnoli gets back inside the ring, and the referee begins a ten count. Allin beats it, but Castagnoli flips him inside out with a clothesline for the win.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

Backstage, Renee Paquette is with AEW Tag-Team Champions Private Party. They gloat a bit and then are approached by Big Boom A.J. and Big Justice. The Costco Guys tease a big announcement coming up next.

MJF Addresses Adam Cole & Roderick Strong

We shoot to a pre-taped segment. A car is shown pulling up to a crumby area of a neighborhood. MJF sees some dude sitting around waiting on him. “Go get him!” MJF demands, as the guy walks off. MJF sits on the hood of his car and addresses Roderick Strong and Adam Cole.

MJF talks about Strong’s white-trash upbringing. He says Cole loves Strong and that works for him, because he wants to hurt someone Cole loves right in front of him. He says he’ll send him back to his trailer park.

We then head backstage to Renee Paquette chatting with BIG BOOM! A.J. and Big Justice, who reveal that they’ll be bringing The Rizzler to the Full Gear Zero Hour Pre-Show.

Back at ringside, Tony Schiavone stands by with The Undisputed Kingdom on the entrance ramp and Roderick Strong sends a message to MJF.

Exclusive Footage Of Matt Menard & Daniel Garcia Kidnapping Jack Perry

A video package airs showing what happened at AEW Collision over the weekend, with Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia kidnapping “The Scapegoat” Jack Perry. Menard at commentary on AEW Dynamite is shown live and he says he didn’t want any of this, but tells them to show the exclusive follow-up footage.

On that note, we cut to Menard and Garcia confronting Perry off in some undisclosed location, where Garcia is confronted with what he’s become thanks to the Scapegoat. Perry starts talking about sacrifice before Garcia cuts him off, promising he will never go to the place Perry wants him to go.

Garcia has something else for the TNT Champion however, taking a crowbar to Perry’s vehicle to send a message to Perry. Perry laughs and asks if that’s it. Garcia tells Menard let’s go. Menard tells Perry he’s got a horseshoe in his ass.

Contract Signing For Chris Jericho vs. Tomohiro Ishii ROH Title Match

Backstage, Renee Paquette is seated at a table with ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and Tomohiro Ishii. It is time for the contract signing ahead of their ROH World Championship match on next week’s AEW Dynamite. Jericho talks about needing to get the contract looked over by his legal eagles before leaving the room, only for Ishii to stalk him down the hallway as Jericho tries to make his escape. Jericho tries throwing hurdles in the way of the Stone Pitbull, including various staff as the pair make their way up the stairs and into the crowd.

Ishii continues to follow the Learning Tree’s main man to ringside, with both men entering the ring as Jericho calls for a microphone. Jericho says he would sign this contract, but he doesn’t have a pen, only for Ishii to reveal a pen of his own, handing it over to Jericho. Eventually, Jericho reluctantly signs the contract, just in time for his students to blindside the challenger. Big Bill and Bryan Keith prop up Ishii for Jericho to attack, but The Conglomeration duo of Mark Briscoe and Rocky Romero run out to make the save.

Big Bill tries to fend them off but is forced to the outside, while Mark Briscoe drops Keith with the Jay Driller before Ishii hits Jericho with the Sheer Drop Brainbuster. He signs the contract and stands tall over Jericho to wrap up the entertaining segment. We head to another commercial break.

We shoot backstage where Renee Paquette is in a stairwell with Jamie Hayter. Hayter talks about having no real history with Julia Hart so she doesn’t understand why she interrupted her last week. As she continues talking, again she is cut off by a new video package hyping the return of The House of Black member. It ends mentioning that she is ready to “come home.”

Orange Cassidy vs. Wheeler Yuta

The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with our main event of this week’s AEW Full Gear 2024 “go-home” episode of AEW Dynamite. Yuta gets a running kick on Cassidy to start things off, sending him to the corner to lay in some strikes. He sends Cassidy across the ring, but Orange fends him off for a near fall.

Yuta is quick to his feet, but Cassidy keeps him off his game leading to a standstill between them. The pair go back at it with Cassidy getting a DDT blocked, but counters right into a Stun-dog Millionaire before forcing Yuta out of the ring for a dive to the floor.

From there, we see Wheeler look for a brainbuster on the outside. Cassidy is brought to the barricade where Yuta lays in some hard kicks. Yuta heads back to the ring, removing the middle turnbuckle pad as Cassidy tries to fight back, only to be driven face-first into the exposed turnbuckle by Yuta.

Cassidy manages to finally fight back, but is just as quickly brought to the apron before Wheeler sends him into the hardest part of the ring with a DDT. On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break. When we return, we see Yuta and Cassidy in the midst of a wild back-and-forth punch exchange.

Cassidy hits a PKO off the ropes and a big brainbuster of his own for a close two-count. As the action continues, we work our way towards the finish, which sees Cassidy pick up the win. Afterwards, as Yuta and Cassidy are staring at each other, Cassidy pushes the referee away and turns around, only to be attacked by The Death Riders crew.

They grab some duct tape and wrap it around Cassidy’s arms and body, trapping his arms and keeping him fully restrained. As they continue to beat him down, no one comes out to make the save, prompting the commentators to remind the viewing audience of Cassidy’s orders to The Conglomeration not to come out and get involved no matter what.

Winner: Orange Cassidy

Eventually, The Death Riders decide they’ve made their point and they leave through the crowd. After they do, The Conglomeration members finally come out and look at Cassidy. They stand around as Cassidy still refuses help, standing on his feet and glaring at Jon Moxley and The Death Riders in the crowd.

He puts his shades back on and raises his hands up and puts them back down in his pockets as his theme hits and the crowd pops while Mox is shown looking on in semi-disbelief. That’s how this week’s AEW Full Gear 2024 “go-home show” goes off the air.
