CMLL’s Magnus will compete at an AEW pay-per-view in just his second match for the company.
Magnus defeated Matt Sydal to qualify for the All-Star Eight-Man Scramble at AEW Revolution on the March 1 episode of AEW Rampage. Magnus is a titleholder in CMLL, as he and Rugido hold the Mexican National Tag Team Championship.
By qualifying for the Scramble match, Magnus will have the chance to earn a world title shot, as the winner of the bout at AEW Revolution will receive one. The match also includes Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, Lance Archer, HOOK, and Brian Cage. A three-way match on the March 2 episode of AEW Collision will determine the final spot.
Speaking of AEW Revolution, Tony Khan took to Twitter to announce a tag team match for the Zero-Hour pre-show for the pay-per-view. TBS Champion Julia Hart will wrestle for the first time since AEW Battle of the Belts IX on January 13, as she will team up with Skye Blue to face Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander.
This will mark the continuation of the rivalry between the teams. Thanks to some help from Hart, Blue beat Statlander on the February 28 episode of AEW Dynamite.
