WWE SmackDown Results (2/10) – We start off with an in depth look at recent events between The Bloodline and Sami Zayn.
We are live from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, as Michael Cole and Wade Barrett welcome us to the show. We hear a “Ladies and gentlemen” and we see Paul Heyman in the middle of the ring, ready to talk.
Paul Heyman is in the ring and he introduces himself. He says he is here to drop some pearls of wisdom. Ever since Brock Lesnar and him conquered the Undertaker’s streak at Wrestlemania, I do not give predicitions, I do spoilers. I have a lot tonight. The Island of Relevancy is under a two prong attack. On Smackdown, Sami Zayn. A crazed, psychopathic rebel. An inzayn competitor. Here is your first spoiler. Sami Zayn is not here this evening. Sami Zayn challenging Roman Reigns . . . can you imagine Sami Zayn as your Undisputed WWE Universal Champion? The crowd likes the idea.
The gates of the Island of Relvancy are under attack on Raw by Cody Rhodes. A man who backed him into a corner on Raw and says what Cody said. Paul says he didn’t know that The American Dream raised a dumbass. Personal? How could it be more personal? They are the centerpiece of the Island of Relevancy. This is the air that they breathe. It is the reason for their existence and why they are in WWE. It is the crest of the Anoa’i and Fatu dynasties.
Sami, at Elimination Chamber and Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania. Let’s be clear. Without these titles, there is no Island of Relevancy. WIthout these titles, there is no Bloodline. Without these titles, there is no Paul Heyman. WIthout these titles, there is no Roman Reigns.
A hooded man shows up behind Paul and the crowd goes crazy. He takes off the hood and it is Sami Zayn.
Paul turns around and he is in shock.
Sami looks around and he puts out his hand for the mic and Paul eventually hands it to Sami.
Sami tells Paul to calm down. You are sweating and you are nervous. Sami says he is not going to hurt Paul, but he could have. You talk about this being the lifeblood of the Island of Relevancy and I could have dropped you like a bag of dirt. If this was a month ago, Solo would have been out with a Samoan Spike. If this was a month ago, Jimmy would have super kicked me. If this was a month ago, Jey would be out there too.
You are out here alone now. You know what everybody knows. Roman’s days as Universal Champion are numbered. Roman is off the rails and everything is crumbling. Sami says he left the Bloodline. Jey walked out on his own and it was his decision. What happens next? What does Jimmy do next? Does he side with his abusive cousin or his twin brother who he shared the womb with? What about Solo? The moment Solo could think for himself, Roman keeps Solo tight. How long until that blows over? Two years plus you have been looking at Roman a little weird and creepy. You look at him like the sun shines out his ass. Here you are, talking about life after Roman Reigns. Life after the WWE titles are gone. You know what everyone else in the Bloodline knows. The Bloodline is on its way out.
Sami tells Paul he knows that Paul does spoilers, not predictions. I will tell you how many days Roman has left. Eight. In Montreal. That is how much time Roman Reigns has left.
Paul asks for the mic back and Sami hugs Paul and tells him to listen carefully. Tell Roman he doesn’t have to worry about Cody because he will be the one to take him down. Sami drops the mic and he leaves the ring.
– We see the Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre causing a ruckus in the back and they get a very old employee to join them in the screaming.
We go to commercial.
Banger Bros vs. Hit Row
We are back and we see why we have our next match even though Hit Row didn’t seem to ask for it.
Drew and Adonis start things off and Adonis has words for Drew. Drew with a head butt and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Drew sets for the Claymore but Adonis gets to the floor. Sheamus tags in and Sheamus with a shoulder tackle to Adonis on the floor. Sheamus sends Adonis back into the ring and Adonis with a drop kick and punches. Dolla with a punch from the apron when the referee was distracted. Sheamus with a uranage back breaker and he sends Adonis over the top rope to the apron. Sheamus sets for the forearms but Dolla goes after Sheamus and misses but he knocks Adonis down. Sheamus with forearms to Dolla’s chest. Adonis leaps on Sheamus’ back but Sheamus with an Air Raid Crash. Sheamus sets for a Brogue Kick.
Drew wtih a Claymore to Dolla when he tries to interfere. Sheamus with the Brogue Kick for the three count.
Winners: Banger Bros
After the match, the Viking Raiders are on the TitanTron. Valhalla says the gods have spoken to her about two warriors destined for greatness, but now marked for sacrifice. Ivar and Erik call out Drew and Sheamus. Valhalla says the chill in the air is not winter. Ivar says it is pain and agony. Valhalla says next week it is destiny.
– We see Jimmy on the phone in the back and he leaves a message for Jey.
We go to commercial.
– We go to Karrion Kross and he says this fatal four way match is his. Scarlett tells him that he knows what he has to do. Kross says he will make Rey suffer and he will put him down.
Lacey Evans vs. Carmen Harress
While Lacey Evans makes her way to the ring, we see Jimmy leaving another message for his brother.
Lacey plays with Carmen’s hair and then they lock up. Lacey with a waist lock take down. Lacey with a kick to the back. Lacey with crossfaces in the ropes. Carmen with a rollup for a near fall. Lacey sends Carmen into the turnbuckles and then slams her head into the turnbuckles. Lacey with a hard Irish whip. Lacey with a hesitation bronco buster. Lacey goes to the turnbuckles and then returns to the mat for a Woman’s Right. Lacey with a Cobra Clutch.
Winner: Lacey Evans
After the match, Lacey takes her time releasing the hold.
Backstage:
We see Jimmy continuing to get voicemails from Jey. Paul shows up and he says that means he hasn’t heard him. Jimmy says he has tried every option and no response. Jimmy says he cannot go out there and defend the titles with no partner. Paul asks Jimmy about what happened earlier and the fact that no one came out to help when when that psychopathic Canadian came out. Jimmy says no one is here so Paul can defend the titles with him. Paul tells Jimmy he has to do it on his own. Jimmy says his brother will be there tonight.
We go to commercial.
Backstage:
Sonya Deville is yelling at Adam about not being in the Elimination Chamber. Adam says Sonya had a title match. Chelsea Green shows up and asks Adam to talk to the manager to complain about the Raw manager. Chelsea asks if she is being discriminated against. Adam says they are going to team up against two people in the Elimination Chamber. You will face Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
The Usos vs. Ricochet and Braun Strowman for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The music for the Usos play and Jimmy is the only one to make his way to the ring. During the introduction, Jey Uso comes through the crowd to make his way to the ring. They hug in the ring before they are introduced.
We go to commercial.
Ricochet and Jey start things off and Jey with a wrist lock and take down. Jey with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Ricochet flips over Jey’s back and Jey with a forearm. Jimmy tags in and Jimmy punches RIcochet in the midsection. Jimmy with an Irish whip and Ricochet floats over and then hits a springboard back elbow for a near fall. Ricochet with a front face lock. Braun tags in and he connects with a double sledge to the ribs. Braun with an Irish whip. Braun with a forearm in the corner. Braun with an Irish whip and Ricochet tags in and Braun sends Ricochet into the corner. Braun with a splash and Ricochet with a drop kick for a near fall. Jimmy goes to the floor and Jey gives him a pep talk. Ricochet with a kick to the back of the leg and a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ricochet with elbow drops for a near fall.
Jey tags in and Jey misses a clothesline but they hit a pop up Samoan drop. Jey with a super kick to knock Ricochet off the apron to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ricochet is down while Jey stands over him. Ricochet with punches to Jey. Ricochet has a kick blocked and he is flipped to his feet. Jey with an uppercut. Jimmy tags in and they send Ricochet into the corner. Jimmy with punches. Jimmy runs into a boot from Ricochet. Jimmy tries to keep Ricochet from making the tag but Ricochet with a springboard cross body and both men are down. Jey tags in and so does Braun. Braun with shoulder tackles to Jey and he knocks Jimmy off the apron. Braun with a splash and an elevated forearm to Jey for a near fall. Braun misses a clothesline and goes over the top rope to the floor. Jey with a super kick and then Jimmy comes off the apron but Braun with an uppercut. Jey with a suicide dive and super kick. Jey with a cross body for a near fall.
Braun gets Jey up for a power slam but Jey gets to his feet and Jey with a super kick. Ricochet tags in and hits a springboard cross body followed by a quebrada and a shooting star press for a near fall. Ricochet gets Jey up but Jimmy tags in and Ricochet with a kick to Jey and an enzuigiri to Jimmy. Braun tags in and hits a running power slam. Braun tells Ricochet to go up top so he tags in Ricochet. Ricochet gets on Braun’s shoulders and he hits a swanton onto Jimmy but Jey pulls Ricochet to the floor to break up the cover. Braun goes to the floor. Braun misses a shoulder when Jey drops down and Braun goes over the announce table. Ricochet with a flip dive to Jey.
Jimmy punches Ricochet on the turnbuckles and Jey makes the tag. Ricochet sends Jimmy to the mat and hits a shooting star press. Jey with a splash for the three count.
Winners: The Usos
– Rey Mysterio says Karrion Kross is an evil human being. Rey says he has been an underdog his entire life. Nothing will stop him from winning the Fatal Four Way and becoming the next Intercontinental Champion.

Backstage:
We are back and Jey says he has Jimmy’s back every day. Jimmy asks if Jey is in or out. Paul watches from behind a pole as Jey walks away. Paul asks Jey if it was his brother. He wants to know if Jey said anything. Jimmy says he just left without saying anything.
In the Arena:
Natalya is in the ring.
She says it feels so great to be back on Smackdown and heading to the Elimination Chamber. She says she wants to get something off her chest. For the first time in 15 years, Shayna Baszler took her out. She was seeing red and after the blood dried, she still saw red. Natalya says she took something from Shayna, a Ronda Rousey knockoff. Natalya says she will win next week and then move on to Wrestlemania while Shayna goes back to carrying Ronda’s bags.
Shayna Baszler’s music plays and she asks if Natalya is calling her a knockoff Ronda Rousey. She says she is sick of everyone diminishing her accomplishments. Shayna says the truth is that she was fighting before Ronda. She was in rings like this before Ronda. She was signed to a contract and was winning titles before Ronda. She does not need people to tell her she is in Ronda’s shadow.
Ronda Rousey’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Ronda looks at Shayna and then Shayna holds Ronda back. Shayna with a forearm to Natalya and they both attack Natalya.
Shotzi comes to the ring and she kicks Shayna and punches Ronda. Ronda with a judo throw to Shotzi and then to Natalya. Shayna with a running kick to the arm.
Backstage:
Jey Uso walks in the parking lot and he sees Sami Zayn. Sami welcomes Jey back. He says he cannot imagine what Jey is going through and he doesn’t want to put him in a bad spot. Sami says he cannot imagine Roman forgetting what happened at the Rumble. Sami says it meant the world to him. He says they are eight days away from something hugs, something you have wanted to see for a long time. Roman is going to go down. Sami tells Jey he doesn’t have to go down with the ship. There is a way out for him. Sami says if they don’t get a chance to talk again, Sami says he acknowledges Jey. Jey tells Sami he better get out of here. They fist bump and Sami leaves.
We go to commercial.
– LA Knight is on the phone and Megan brings up how this is the first time he has been seen since the Pitch Black match. LA says we are not looking at the past, but we are looking to the future.
Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green vs. Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan
Sonya and Liv start things off and Sonya with a side head lock. Sonya with a shoulder tackle. Sonya avoids Liv but Liv with a drop kick. Liv with a running hip into the corner and a second one. Liv with a running knee into the corner. Liv comes off the turnbuckles and is met with a knee to the face for a near fall. Sonya sends Liv into the corner and Green tags in. Green sends Liv face first into the turnbuckles and then sends her into the turnbuckles again for a near fall. Green gets a near fall. Sonya wants to tag in and Green obliges. Sonya with a punch but Liv with a back elbow and kick. Liv floats over Sonya and Sonya stops Liv from making the tag. Liv with a punch to Sonya and an elbow to Green. Green grabs Liv by the hair and Sonya knocks Green off the apron.
Raquel tags in and clotheslines Sonya a few times. Raquel with another clothesline and a fallaway slam. Raquel with a double jumping twisting elbow but Sonya gets her hand on the rope to stop the count. Sonya kicks Raquel and Green is not looking at the ring and Sonya tags her in. Raquel brings Green into the ring and Green knocks Sonya off the apron. Raquel with a Tejano bomb and Liv tags in for ObLIVion. Raquel power bombs Liv onto Green for the three count.
Winners: Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan
– Riddick Moss says he knows things haven’t gone his way recently but things change tonight. When you feel good, you play good. She says Emma makes him feel great. After this, he is on his way to face Gunther for the Intercontinental Title.
We go to commercial.
– We go to an interview that Michael Cole did with Charlotte Flair.
Cole mentions they are 50 days away from Wrestlemania and her match against Rhea Ripley. Cole mentions their history, including three years ago when Rhea challenged Charlotte after Charlotte won the Royal Rumble.
Charlotte says Rhea chose her three years ago because Rhea knew this was the mountain she had to climb. Rhea was young, green, and wasn’t ready. Rhea says she is ready now. Charlotte says she hopes Rhea is ready, three years later. Charlotte says there are levels to this.
Cole asks if Rhea is on Charlotte’s level. Charlotte says it takes more than three years to get on her level. Charlotte says she taught Charlotte a lesson three years ago. At SoFi Stadium, I am going to put Rhea in her place.
Karrion Kross vs. Santos Escobar vs. Riddick Moss vs. Rey Mysterio in a Number One Contender Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Santos Esccbar says he looks like a champion and he competes like a champion. You will see why he is the one who should be fighting Gunther for the Intercontinental Title and that Legado del Fantasma is the future.
We go to commercial.
Back from the break and here we go. Rey and Kross go at it in the corner, while Moss and Escobar go at it. Moss sends Escobar out, then decks Kross from behind to save Rey. Kross launches Moss to the floor. Kross launches Rey face-first into the turnbuckles now and he goes down.
Kross and Escobar go for Rey. Kross says it’s nice to see you again, and Cole references their history. Kross gets to Rey first, then knocks Escobar out of the ring. Kross takes Rey to the top but Rey headbutts him down to the mat. Rey with a flying senton. Rey charges but runs into a big boot from Kross as Scarlett looks on. Kross rocks Rey in the corner but Escobar rushes in and cuts Kross off.
Escobar launches Rey into Kross with a hurricanrana. Rey and Escobar work on Kross but Kross drops Escobar and catches Rey with a fall-away slam. Moss comes in and goes corner to corner on Kross and Escobar now. Escobar rocks Moss, then knocks Kross to the floor with a big knee. Rey and Escobar go at it now. Escobar blocks the bulldog and hits a big boot but Rey hangs on. Rey with a top rope hurricanrana on Escobar. Escobar comes back with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for 2. Kross trips Escobar but Escobar kicks him back to the floor.
Rey drops Escobar into position for 619 but Escobar kicks him from the apron instead. Escobar knocks Moss to the floor as he tries to get involved. Rey goes to the top and launches himself to the floor to take out Kross. Escobar runs the ring and leaps out with a suicide dive to take Moss down, right next to Rey and Escobar. We go back to commercial with all four Superstars down at ringside.
We are back and Kross gets a near fall on Santos. Rey with punches but Kross with an exploder to Rey. Kross kicks Moss and gets a near fall on Rey. Moss with a jaw breaker to Kross and a shoulder tackle to Moss and Escobar. Moss with a shoulder tackle to Rey. Kross with a forearm to Moss and Moss with a spinebuster for a near fall. Moss catches Escobar and tries for a suplex but Escobar gets to his feet and he gets a near fall with a rollup on Moss. Escobar with a drop kick to Moss for a near fall. Escobar with a drop toe hold to Rey. Escobar with a forearm to Kross. Escobar with a sunset flip but you don’t sunset flip Rey and he hits a drop kick for a near fall. Rey with a DDT to Kross and a kick to Moss. Escobar with a Phantom Driver to Rey but Moss breaks up the cover.
Escobar goes up top and Moss stops him. Moss goes for a super fallaway slam but Escobar stops Moss and connects with kicks. Escobar sets for a Frankensteiner and hits it for a near fall. Kross clotheslines Escobar to the floor. Rey goes for a sunset flip on Kross but Kross picks up Rey and sends him to the mat. Kross with a kick and Rey counters a power bomb to send Kross into the ropes. Rey with a 619 and Scarlett trips Rey and Kross with a Kross Hammer. Escobar with a cross body and both men go to the floor. Moss goes up top and hits an elbow drop for the three count.
Winner: Riddick Moss
Backstage:
We go to Jimmy Uso in the office and Paul shows up. Paul says he was on the phone with Roman but there is no reception. He says Roman was right and you are loyal. Paul says he needs an on television perspective from Jimmy and Jey so they can watch things on television. Paul says there are times when you see something on television that you don’t see live.
We go to credits.
