Kross addresses Mr. Gargano and says touche.  Last week I got you and this week, you got me.  That is all very cute, but i am willing to die by the sword I live by.  Will you do the same?  Kross says he dares Johnny to come to the ring to see how he fares when he sees the shot coming.

Johnny shows up and he asks Kross if he thinks he is afraid of him.  Last week, the big, bad NXT Champion jumped me from behind like a coward.  This week, I will beat you at your game.  Now you want me to get in the ring with you?  That is my world you are standing in.  I don’t have a sword, but I have actual talent.  You might be bigger than me, but I am smarter than you.

Kyle says this journey has been about him testing himself against the best.  He wants to fight dudes who will make him a better fighter.  That was what last week was about and that is what next week is about.  Last time, it was gritty and unsanctioned.  After he got his hand raised, he proved that he could be in the main event and someday he could become an NXT Champion.  Adam Cole does not see that and it is excuse after excuse.  Kyle tells Adam to come out to hear what Adam’s excuse will be next week after he kicks Adam’s ass.

Adam says before he was interrupted, he was going to say that Kyle wishes he could be in Adam’s shoes.  You probably go home at night and hope and pray that you have half the career that I have but it won’t happen.  Adam says he finally figured Kyle out.  You are obsessed with me and it creeps him out.

Kyle brings up the word obsessed.  I beat you, put you in the hospital, and you are gone for six weeks and then you come back and attack me for weeks.

Adam says that Kyle is delusional and he needs to hear the cold, hard truth.  Kyle O’Reilly is nothing without Adam Cole.  This goes so much deeper than NXT.  Think about all of those championships and War Games Matches, who is standing beside you.  The man who is responsible for every ounce of success you had.  I carried you on my back for four years and I am still the star.  The entire world knows it.  That locker room knows it.  Whether he wants to admit it or not, Samoa Joe knows it.  Even your wife knows it.

Kyle tells Adam not to mention his wife.  We were in Undisputed Era but I am ashamed I associated myself with you.  I am ashamed it has taken me so long to realize that you are a pathetic piece . . .
