As noted, there are plans to take the weekly NXT TV show on the road starting in January since the feeling is that AEW Dynamite looks more “big time” compared to the 400-seat Full Sail University.
They still plan on running shows at Full Sail but not every week.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that NXT has booked January dates for Full Sail University so perhaps, the plans to go on the road will be delayed at least by a few weeks.
NXT is closing the ratings gap with AEW Dynamite, thanks because of the invasion from main roster guys AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson and Finn Balor’s move from Raw to NXT.
It’s safe to say, that the Wednesday Night War is heating up. Next week’s rating will be interesting to see if NXT can beat AEW or if the curiosity from Full Gear will give a bump to AEW’s ratings over NXT.
