During the NXT Takeover WarGames pre-show, they aired a segment where Mia Yim was backstage and shaking after a brutal attack.
No one seems to know who attacked Yim, but it was announced that Mia Yim is not cleared to compete. Later, Mia Yim was seen leaving in an ambulance, Rhea Ripley picked Dakota Kai to fill Yim’s spot.
Yim legitimately suffered a broken nose during her Ladder Match loss to Io Shirai last Wednesday, so that could be why she was pulled.
