We begin with a look at the issues between Drake Maverick and Mike Kanellis. Tonight, they meet in an unsanctioned match.
Samir Singh and Sunil Singh versus Akira Tozawa and Brian Kendrick
Tozawa and Samir start things off. Samir with a knee and forearms to Tozawa. Samir with kicks and then he dances. Tozawa with chops and then he gets Samir to flinch so Tozawa with a jab. Kendrick tags in and they hit a double hip toss. Kendrick with an elbow drop and Tozawa with a back senton to allow Kendrick to get a near fall. Kendrick with an arm bar and Tozawa tags in. Kendrick with an Irish whip and Tozawa with a forearm. Tozawa and Kendrick iwth a flatliner and kick combination. Kendrick drop kicks Sunil when he tries to interfere. Sunil trips Tozawa and Samir kicks Tozawa. Samir with more dancing and a forearm. Sunil tags in and kicks Tozawa in the corner.
Samir tags in and they dance before Samir kicks Tozawa. Samir with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Sunil tags in and they Irish whip Tozawa into the corner. Smair tags in and he hits a splash into the corner followed by a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Sunil tags in and they Irish whip Tozawa into the corner. Tozawa avoids Samir and hits a spinning round kick on Sunil. Samir stops Tozawa from making the tag but Tozawa with an enzuigiri and Kendrick tags in. Kendrick with forearms and elbows. Kendrick with a forearm to Sunil and a kick to Samir. Kendrick with a leg lariat for a near fall.
Samir takes his award and Sunil hits Kendrick. Sunil hits Samir with the award when the referee is not looking. Kendrick with Sliced Bread Number 2 and then he tags in Tozawa for a back senton from the turnbuckles for the three count.
Winners: Akira Tozawa and Brian Kendrick
We go to Part 3 of the Humberto Carrillo profile. He says his favorite moment in WWE was debuting on 205 Live against Buddy Murphy for the title. That was the push he needed. Humberto says he is working to get the title. The 205 Live Roster has high flyers and good technical wrestlers. Humberto says he wants to face Drew Gulak because he feels he deserves a title match. Humberto says his family is full of wrestlers but none have won a WWE title.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Lucha House Party are asked about the Lucha Influence on 205 Live. Kalisto says they are all about hard. They tore the house down with Humberto Carrillo and Raul Mendoza. He says Humberto is one of the best on 205 Live. Lince Dorado says they are on the rise. They are lucha libre. He says they have not seen an Humberto Carrillo versus Lince Dorado match yet. Lince says let’s have some fun because it is lucha time.
Ariya Daivari versus Lince Dorado
They lock up and Dorado with a waist lock but Daivari with a wrist lock. Dorado with a reversal. Daivari with a side head lock take down and Dorado with a head scissors. Dorado with a side head lock take down and Daivari with a head scissors. Daivari with a leg sweep and cover. Dorado with a leg sweep and cover. Daivari avoids the handspring cutter and Daivari goes to the floor. Daivari says he has had enough and he goes up the ramp. Dorado hits Daivari from behind and they go back to the ring. Dorado with a moonsault off the apron onto Daivari.
Daivari with a springboard splash for a near fall. Daivari wants a time out. Dorado blocks a kick and chops Daivari followed by a head scissors and drop kick for a near fall. Dorado goes to the turnbuckles and Daivari pushes Dorado to the floor and Dorado hits the ringside barrier. Dorado holds his knee and Daivari sends Dorado back into the ring. Daivari with a rear chin lock. Dorado with punches and Daivari with a reverse DDT for a near fall. Daivari puts Dorado on the turnbuckles and chops Lince. Dorado blocks an Iconoclast and Dorado with forearms to the chest. Dorado with a cross body for a near fall. Dorado with a boot to the head and Daivari with a DDT and Daivari gets a near fall.
Daivari pulls Dorado into the corner and then Daivari has some words for the referee and that allows Dorado to get his boot up when Daivari goes for a fist drop. Dorado with punches and kicks. Dorado with a chop and Daivari goes to the floor. Dorado with a springboard cross body to the floor and both men are down. Dorado with punches from the apron followed by a boot. Dorado goes up top and Daivari with a super kick as Dorado comes off the turnbuckles. Daivari gets a near fall. Daivari taunts Dorado and Dorado with punches. Daivari blocks the springboard cutter and Daivari with a million dollar dream. Dorado with a rollup for a near fall. Daivari with a uranage for a near fall.
Daivari gets Dorado on his shoulders but Dorado with a kick and rollup and bridge for the three count.
Winner: Lince Dorado
MIke Kanellis is in the back and he is getting ready for his match and the 24/7 Champion walks by.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Drew Gulak says he is supposed to defend his title at SummerSlam. Where is his opponent? No one has the resolve to step up to him. He says he will be watching the next match. If Mike wins, maybe he gets his title match. If Mike loses, Drew says he is back where he started. He is left waiting and he is waiting alone. No matter who stands across the ring from him, they will face two things. Pain and Punhishment.
Mike Kanellis versus Drake Maverick in an Unsanctioned Match
Kanellis attacks Drake from behind and punches and kicks him. Mike sends Drake into the Titantron. Mike with punches. Mike sends Drake into one of the lights along the aisle. Mike kicks Drake and then rips up a sign. Mike sends Drake into the LED board against the apron. Mike gets into the ring.
Mike wants to be decalred the winner by forfeit but Drake wants to fight and makes his way into the ring.
The match officially starts and Kanellis chokes Drake in the corner. Mike says he is sick of Drake’s rules and he sends Drake to the floor. We see Maria in the back looking at a monitor while Mike rakes Drake’s eyes. Mike sends Drake into the ringside barrier. Mike sends Drake into the ringside barrier again. Drake is sent back first into the ringside barrier. Kanellis with a thrust kick to Drake. Mike sends Drake face first into the announce table a few times. Mike puts Drake in one of the announcer’s chairs and hits a super kick. Kanellis sends Drake back into the ring.
Mike sends Drake into the turnbuckles. Mike sends Drake into the turnbuckles again. Mike with a punch and Drake goes down. Mike rips Drake’s shirt off and Mike picks up Drake and hits a clothesline. Kanellis takes Drake’s belt and Kanellis whips Drake with it as Maria watches from the back. Lorcan with a sleeper and Drake starts to go out but he gets a second wind. Drake falls back to the mat. Drake sends Kanellis into the turnbuckles to get out of the sleeper. Kanellis misses a charge and goes into the ring post. Drake moves when Kanellis charges at him and Kanellis goes to the floor. Drake goes for a suicide dive and Kanellis catches Drake and swings him into the ringside barrier.
Mike sends Drake back into the ring and Mike stuffs one of the Wanted signs into Drake’s mouth. Drake looks at the notice and he remembers why he is doing this. Drake starts to Spud Up. Drake with punches to Kanellis and Drake with a drop kick. Drake kicks Kanellis and hits a drop kick into the corner. Drake gets his belt and he whips Kanellis with it. Drake with a suicide dive that sends Kanellis onto the announce table. Drake with a DDT onto the announce table. Drake goes onto the ringside barrier and then misses a running elbow drop when Kanellis moves off the announce table.
Kanellis sends Drake back into the ring. Kanellis sets for a swinging reverse neck breaker but he drops Drake. Mike puts Drake on the turnbuckles. Kanellis with a Super Splash Mountain but Drake counters into a rana. Drake with an Acid Drop for the three count.
Winner: Drake Maverick
We see Maria in the back and she is not happy.
