As noted, Simon Gotch lost a backstage fight to Sin Cara at last Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown that was said to be a “one-sided destruction” by Cara. Gotch did not work that weekend’s live events but is back on the road with the company.
In an update, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Cara flipped out and threw an un-opened soda at Gotch’s face, causing Gotch to go down hard. Another report said a punch sent Gotch down.
Some people in WWE are saying Gotch has heat with wrestlers with a few people saying it’s a lot of heat. Apparently Gotch and Cara have had issues in the past, perhaps from Cara’s time in WWE NXT. Some people also commented to The Observer that Gotch’s mouth sometimes gets people mad at him.
