Multiple international airlines have extended flight suspensions to Riyadh through the date of WWE Crown Jewel 2026. On Saturday, October 24, major carriers announced prolonged service cancellations to Saudi Arabia due to ongoing regional security concerns, adding potential logistical complications for the upcoming premium live event.
Airlines Prolong Service Cancellations
Air India and Air India Express confirmed that flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam will remain suspended through November 7. This timeline directly conflicts with the scheduled date for Crown Jewel at Riyadh Season Stadium. The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has officially verified these extended restrictions amid continued disruptions to international air travel throughout the region.
Furthermore, Akasa Air has pushed its suspension of Riyadh flights through November 30, while halting service to Jeddah through November 10. These updates follow a broader trend of international carriers reducing operations in Saudi Arabia amid repeated missile and drone attacks targeting airport infrastructure.
Internal Response From Corporate Executives
The travel restrictions present another layer of logistical planning for the promotion, which must transport talent, production staff, and heavy equipment to the venue. However, there is currently no indication that the affected airlines were part of corporate travel arrangements or that the cancellations have directly impacted event preparations.
Earlier this week, TKO executive Ari Emanuel addressed the regional instability and confirmed that corporate teams are monitoring the security situation on a daily basis while evaluating potential backup locations.
“Right now, everything’s still set,” Emanuel stated during an appearance on Fox News, confirming that no cancellations had been made at that time.
Despite the growing airline restrictions, management has not altered its plans, and the premium live event remains advertised for November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium.
