As of Tuesday, expectations within WWE leaned toward treating Worlds Collide primarily as a live untelevised event, raising the possibility that the show may not air live on traditional streaming platforms.
Potential Broadcast Outlets Being Considered
Sources indicate that broadcast plans remain fluid and could be updated prior to showtime. Should WWE executives decide to air the event live or on delay, platforms like YouTube or Club WWE are under consideration as potential broadcast homes.
Despite the lack of a finalized broadcast strategy, ticket movement for the event has reportedly been strong as WWE builds out a star-studded lineup.
Stacked Lineup Headed to Allstate Arena
Worlds Collide is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois—placing the event in direct head-to-head competition with AEW All Out, which takes place the same night in nearby Hoffman Estates.
To draw fans to Allstate Arena, WWE has advertised major attractions for the card, including hometown star CM Punk and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
As of this writing, WWE has yet to issue an official public announcement regarding streaming details or broadcast partners for the show.
