AEW Dynamite Results – September 30

AEW Dynamite Results – September 30 – Welcome to Wrestling Attitude’s live coverage results for AEW Dynamite on September 30, live from the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

AEW Dynamite opened with a memorial graphic for Benjamin Satterley, as Excalibur sat alone at the commentary desk. He said PAC may have called himself a bastard, but in reality he was a devoted son, a loving husband, and a dear friend — your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler, and one of the warmest people you could ever meet. Whether fans knew him as PAC, Neville, the King of the Cruiserweights, the Man That Gravity Forgot, or simply Ben, he was one of a kind. Excalibur closed with, “Gannin’ along the Scotswood Road, to see the Blaydon Races.”

Tony Schiavone stood in the ring with a memorial wreath and a framed photo of PAC. He said AEW is a family, and when they received the news on Sunday, everyone was devastated — and still is. Tony said Ben showed that you could be great in the ring, play the bastard, and still be a wonderful human being the moment you stepped through the curtain. He said PAC taught them to be kind, friendly, and to leave a lasting impression on everyone you meet.

The show then aired comments from Jon Moxley, recorded after Saturday’s All Out — the last time PAC appeared on AEW cameras. Moxley, nearly in tears, said Will Ospreay was the better man that night and took everything he had. He talked about losing — in wrestling, in life — and how you don’t always get what you want or deserve. You get up, you smile, and you do it again because every day is a gift. Sold‑out crowds in Tokyo or Chicago paying their hard‑earned money to watch them wrestle — Moxley said it’s the best job in the world.

He spoke about eulogies: one about what a man did, the other about who he was. Moxley didn’t know which he wanted for himself someday, but he knew what he expected from Ospreay. He said people still don’t realize what they have in front of them — the future of pro wrestling, kids around the world dreaming of doing what they’re doing now. He said the Death Riders, Will Ospreay, and anyone with the guts to be great should grab life by the throat and make something of this gift.

Moxley walked off with Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Marina Shafir… and PAC was the last one to leave the frame.

Back in the arena, Tony Schiavone stood as the entire roster gathered on the stage for a 10‑bell salute to Benjamin Satterley.

The Death Riders’ music hit. A spotlight revealed PAC’s towel draped over a chair placed on the aisle. The crew stayed in the back. Jon Moxley made the walk to the ring alone.

AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

The bell rang and Cassidy went straight into arm drags, trying to keep Moxley off balance. Moxley shut that down with a chop. Cassidy rolled him up, Moxley kicked out and returned the favor with a pin attempt of his own. Both men reset in a stalemate. They locked up again, Cassidy hit a shoulder tackle, but Moxley answered with an elbow and bounced Cassidy face‑first off the announce desk on the outside.

Back from break, Moxley had Cassidy pinned, but Cassidy kicked out. Moxley hammered him with right hands in the corner. Cassidy fired back by repeatedly smashing Moxley’s face into the top buckle from the apron, but Moxley knocked him to the floor and threw him back inside. Cassidy rolled out twice, and when he tried a third time, Moxley met him on the opposite side — commentary noting Cassidy once used that exact trick against PAC.

Cassidy climbed the top rope, Moxley rolled away. Cassidy hit his signature light kicks, then a thrust kick, and they traded forearms. Cassidy put his hands in his pockets. Moxley teased doing the same, then flipped him off.

Cassidy hit a shotgun dropkick and a Stun Dog Millionaire. He rolled Moxley up with a crucifix, but Moxley kicked out. Cassidy set up Beach Break, Moxley escaped. Cassidy kicked him, Moxley grabbed for the Brutalizer.

Cassidy countered into a pin, Moxley kicked out. Cassidy tried the Brutalizer himself — Excalibur noting Cassidy would know every counter thanks to PAC. Moxley freed an arm and stomped Cassidy’s head, then hit a Death Rider for the win.

Winner: Jon Moxley

Post‑Match

Moxley stayed in the ring catching his breath. Bryan Danielson’s music hit. Danielson walked out with tears in his eyes. Moxley stood, turned away at first, then faced him. The two embraced and held a long, emotional hug.

Hangman Adam Page Remembers Benjamin Satterley

Hangman Adam Page spoke next, fighting through visible tears. He said he met Ben on his very first day in the business, and from that moment on he learned that The Bastard was only a character — the real man was one of the kindest, most welcoming people he’d ever met. Page said working with Ben was always a joy, and over the past few years he became one of the people Page loved sharing a locker room with the most.

Page said he wished he could properly explain how much Ben loved wrestling — not just the matches, but the people, the relationships, the shared experiences across his entire career. Ben cared deeply about everyone around him. Page said he’ll miss hearing Ben thank him, miss saying goodbye, and miss the presence of someone who made every day in wrestling better just by being there.

The Elite vs. The Don Callis Family (w/ Don Callis)

The bell rang and the Don Callis Family jumped The Elite and Hangman Page right away. Fletcher whipped Nick Jackson into the ropes, but Matt tagged in and hit a shoulder through the middle rope. Matt helped Nick land a hurricanrana on Fletcher, then Knight tagged in and Nick hit a backbreaker on him. Matt followed with a twisting neckbreaker off Nick’s knee, and the Bucks hit a Code Red–German suplex combo on Beretta.

Romero hit a double hurricanrana on Matt and Nick, but Page crept up behind him as Romero shimmied. Omega came up behind him on the other side, and the Bucks boxed him in. Omega and Page chopped Romero’s chest and spine, then kicked Beretta.

Omega sent Beretta crashing to the mat. The Bucks knocked Knight off the apron, Page sent Fletcher out after him, and The Elite plus Page all dove through the ropes to wipe out the Callis crew.

They dragged the Family into all four corners and unloaded punches. Matt powerbombed Beretta in the corner while Nick hit an enzuigiri from the apron. Fletcher sent Matt into Nick, and Knight yanked Nick off the middle rope with a hurricanrana. Knight then dove onto Omega and Page outside. Romero and Beretta hit a double stomp off the ropes into a belly‑to‑back piledriver on Matt.

Back from break, Matt hit a crossbody off the apron on Fletcher. Romero cut him off from tagging and whipped him into the corner, but Matt hit a suplex on Romero, then another on Romero and Beretta. Nick tagged in and hit a double crossbody off the top on Romero and Beretta. He followed with an Escalara‑arm drag combo, but Knight and Fletcher stomped him down in the corner.

Page tagged in and hit a clothesline on Fletcher off the middle rope, sending him onto the apron. He hit a fallaway slam on Knight and a running shooting star press for a cover, but Knight kicked out.

Omega tagged in. Knight raked the eyes, but Omega hit a Snap Dragon on him, then another on Romero, then a third on Beretta. Fletcher cut him off with a Michinoku Driver. Knight hit a clothesline off the top on Matt, and Romero hit a running Sliced Bread on Page.

The Elite and Page regrouped and blasted Romero with a four‑way superkick. Omega got Beretta up and dropped him. All four members of The Elite hit dives at the same time to wipe out the Family. Omega lined up a V‑Trigger, but Page booted Beretta first. Page and Omega hit a Buckshot Lariat–V‑Trigger combo, the Bucks hit a BTE Trigger, and Omega finished with the One Winged Angel for the pin.

Winners: The Elite & “Hangman” Adam Page

After the match, The Elite and Page shared a four‑way hug in the center of the ring.

Tribute Videos – Cash Wheeler & Jay White

A video from Cash Wheeler aired next. Cash was emotional as he talked about how much he’ll miss Benjamin Satterley’s smile and the kind of person he was. He said Ben was one of the best human beings he ever met in wrestling, someone whose kindness stayed with you long after the match was over. Cash closed by saying he loved Ben.

Another tribute followed from Jay White, also fighting through tears. Jay said he didn’t think Ben ever realized how much he meant to him and to the entire locker room. He admitted he used to try to emulate Ben, but could never match him — Ben was simply in a league of his own. Jay said it feels like everyone is still waiting for PAC to walk through the curtain tonight, and he ended by saying he misses him deeply.

Benjamin Satterley’s Family Statement

Back at ringside, Renee Paquette said it was an incredibly difficult night for everyone in Pittsburgh. She then read a statement from Benjamin’s wife Natalie, his mother Gillian, and his father Steven.

His family said they are devastated by the loss. They thanked fans around the world for the overwhelming support that has helped them get through the last few days. They shared pieces of Ben’s life — how much he loved his dog, how much joy he found in dancing, and how much he cherished time with his parents. They said Tony Khan changed Ben’s life forever, and that Ben was always committed to giving his best in AEW and made wonderful friends there. They thanked AEW for helping them navigate this tragedy and expressed gratitude to fans for sharing how Ben impacted their lives.

Swerve Strickland & New Level Honor PAC

Swerve Strickland, New Level, and Prince Nana then made their way to the ring. Swerve, Austin Creed, and Kofi placed their AEW World Trios Championship belts and a towel with PAC’s name on it in the center of the ring. The three men then embraced one another along with Nana, standing together in tribute.

Ricochet Remembers Benjamin Satterley

Ricochet spoke next, saying it still feels unreal that they’re even here doing this. He said you always think you have more time with people, and then suddenly you don’t — so you have to embrace every moment while you have it.

He talked about living with Ben in Japan during their Dragon Gate days, calling him an inspiration and a big brother. Ricochet said it always seems like the people we lose are the ones everyone can share endless positive stories about, and Ben was exactly that. No matter where you were in the world, even if you’d never met someone before, they still had a PAC story — something funny, something kind, something unforgettable.

Ricochet said there will never be another like Ben inside the ring, and he knows this won’t be the last time they see each other. He said he loves Ben, and everyone will miss him.

Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet

Both men entered with their crews, sharing hugs on the apron before meeting in the center of the ring. They knelt, embraced, and held the moment before the bell — a quiet tribute to PAC from two of his closest in‑ring peers.

They opened with a fast chain. Ospreay flipped out of a cravat, rolled through a cazadora, and landed on his feet. Ricochet answered with a backflip into a shotgun dropkick and stood tall. A springboard crossbody got two. Ospreay fired back with a hurricanrana that sent Ricochet outside, then hit a slingshot crossbody. Back inside, Ospreay chopped away until Ricochet flipped out of the corner and hit an enzuigiri that sent Ospreay to the floor. Ricochet followed with a Fosbury Flop heading into commercial.

Back from break, Ricochet tried a 450 off the barricade, landed on his feet, charged — and got thrown with an overhead belly‑to‑belly into the barricade. In the ring, Ospreay clipped him with a handspring corkscrew kick and hit Pip, Pip, Cheerio for two. They escalated into a chop battle. Ospreay hit a Stundog Millionaire, Ricochet answered with a punt kick. Ospreay went for Vertigo, Ricochet countered, but Ospreay spiked him with a handspring spinning DDT — Ricochet folding like PAC used to.

Ricochet avoided Storm Breaker and hit a snap hurricanrana driver for two. A tilt‑a‑whirl backbreaker set up a Phoenix Splash from the middle rope for another near fall. Ospreay tried an avalanche poison rana, Ricochet landed on his feet and hit a snap German. Ospreay bounced back with a German of his own, PAC‑style. Ricochet ducked a Buzzsaw Kick, and both men hit poison ranas in a wild reset.

They rose slowly and traded strikes. Ricochet tried a cartwheel, Ospreay popped him up into a Blue Thunder Bomb for two. Ricochet blocked Hidden Blade into a backslide driver and a Liger Bomb for a near fall. Ricochet went up top and hit PAC’s Shooting Star Pele Kick, then a Shooting Star Press — Ospreay kicked out at the last moment.

Ricochet missed Spirit Gun. Ospreay hit a double‑arm underhook Styles Clash for two. Hidden Blade smashed Ricochet in the back of the head, but Ospreay didn’t finish there. He climbed up and hit a perfect Black Arrow, PAC’s signature, for the pin.

Winner: Will Ospreay

Ospreay broke down in tears. Ricochet joined him. Their crews joined them. Even referee Bryce hugged them. It was a match, a tribute, and a goodbye — all at once.

Will Ospreay’s Tribute To Benjamin Satterley

Will Ospreay spoke next, sharing how deeply PAC shaped his life long before they ever met. He said that after school, he and his friends would film themselves doing wrestling moves and upload them online. People told him he reminded them of PAC — and that sent him down a rabbit hole. He realized it was the same PAC who wrestled in 1PW against names like AJ Styles, the same PAC tearing it up in Dragon Gate. Watching those matches as a teenager gave Ospreay hope that he could walk the same road someday.

He talked about PAC’s legacy — how his style spread across the world and inspired an entire generation. Ospreay said all he ever wanted was to wrestle like PAC, and that’s why he chased him for so many years. Behind the character, he said, was a wonderful human being. For someone who played a bastard, PAC was the loveliest person you could meet.

Ospreay said he’ll miss PAC’s beautiful face, his little sausage dog, and the lessons PAC gave to so many people — lessons that brought happiness. He said he’ll miss him, he’ll love him forever, and thanked PAC for everything he gave to him and to everyone else.

The show cuts to a commercial break. We will be back for more AEW Dynamite results for September 30, 2026.

Marina Shafir, Thunder Rosa & Hyan vs. Mercedes Mone, Persephone & Dr. Britt Baker DMD

Marina Shafir came out wearing a soccer jersey with her son’s name on it — a gift from PAC — and Excalibur noted the long friendship between Mone and PAC from their WWE days. Persephone and Hyan opened the match trading quick pin attempts. Persephone didn’t budge on a shoulder block, but Hyan’s running big boot dropped her. Rosa tagged in and she and Hyan hit a series of double‑teams, including a headscissors from Rosa. Rosa tried a sunset flip, but Persephone rolled through and hit a low dropkick.

Britt Baker tagged in to a huge hometown reaction, got a few shots in on Rosa, then tagged Persephone back in. Persephone wanted a Razor’s Edge, but Hyan broke it up. Shafir tagged in and bulldozed everyone, then ordered Hyan and Rosa to hit double baseball slides on Mone and Baker. Shafir followed with a Tiger Feint headscissors that spiked Persephone on the apron heading into commercial.

During the break, Jon Moxley returned to ringside after walking Shafir out for her entrance. Rosa was isolated for most of the commercial until she and Mone collided with a double clothesline.

Shafir made the hot tag and unloaded with thrust kicks. She hit a double‑arm underhook facebreaker on Mone — commentary reminding everyone of Mone’s broken nose. Mone and Shafir traded heavy shots until Shafir hit a bounce‑back German and a snap suplex. She briefly applied Mother’s Milk before Persephone broke it up, but Persephone then ate a bounce‑back German too.

Baker tagged in and hit a Sling Blade. Hyan followed with a Falcon Arrow. Mone hit a Backstabber. Rosa hit a flying dropkick. Persephone hit a bridge‑back thrust kick. Shafir was left alone and took a spear from Persephone and a curb stomp from Baker.

Baker signaled to Moxley and pulled out the glove for Lockjaw. Hyan and Rosa wiped out Persephone on the floor. Shafir powered up, spun Baker out, and locked in a Brutalizer — PAC’s hold — forcing Baker to submit.

Winners: Marina Shafir, Thunder Rosa & Hyan

Post‑Match

Rosa and Hyan consoled Shafir, who was in tears. She pulled Moxley into the ring, and he gave her a long, emotional hug.

We will return after a break with more results from the September 30 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Swerve Strickland’s Tribute

Swerve Strickland said he first met PAC at a Dragon Gate show in the old ECW Arena. He talked about how much he admired PAC’s perfectionism — every detail mattered to him, every movement had purpose. When they crossed paths again in AEW, Swerve got to know the real Ben: quiet, thoughtful, and someone whose words carried weight because he only spoke when it mattered. Swerve said he already misses him, and hopes Ben knew how loved and appreciated he was throughout the wrestling world.

Darby Allin’s Tribute

Darby Allin said when he thinks of a wrestler completely dedicated to the craft, he thinks of Ben — someone who did it purely for the love of pro wrestling. When Darby heard the news, he went back and watched old clips. He remembered fighting PAC on a golf course, putting him through a flaming table, and PAC showing up with ideas for spots Darby never expected.

Darby thanked Ben for all the wild moments they shared and said maybe in the next life there’s another golf course — or something — where they can fight again. Until then, he loves him.

AEW Dynamite Preview – September 30

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite carries a somber tone as AEW pays tribute to PAC, who passed away earlier this week. The company confirmed the news shortly after All Out, where PAC wrestled what would become his final match in a National Championship challenge against Andrade El Idolo. Tributes have poured in from across the wrestling world, including messages from Triple H, Marina Shafir, AEW talent, and Tony Khan. The broadcast is expected to feature acknowledgments of PAC’s career and his impact on the Death Riders.

Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet

AEW World Champion Will Ospreay returns to the ring in a non‑title match against Ricochet. Ospreay is coming off a chaotic All Out main event where he retained the championship over Jon Moxley after a Storm Breaker and Hidden Blade sealed the finish. The match saw interference from multiple factions, including the Death Riders, United Empire, and The Brawling Birds. Tonight’s bout gives Ospreay a chance to reset while Ricochet looks to make a statement against the top champion.

Persephone & Britt Baker vs. Hyan & Thunder Rosa

TBS Champion Persephone teams with Britt Baker to face Hyan and Thunder Rosa. Baker played a major role in Persephone’s title win at the All In Buy In, helping her dethrone Maya World. Since then, Baker, Persephone, and Hikaru Shida picked up a trios victory over Hyan, Rosa, and World during the Rebel Heart special earlier this month. With tensions rising in the division, tonight’s tag match adds another layer to the ongoing rivalry.
