WWE SmackDown Results – July 10, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage results of WWE SmackDown on July 10, from the the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Nick Aldis is standing in the ring and welcomes everyone to SmackDown. He says he wants to address what’s been going on with him lately. He brings up the situation with Gunther at Night of Champions and says that while he feels justified in how he reacted, he’s still taking responsibility for his actions. Nick says he has been reinstated as General Manager and will continue running SmackDown.

Nick then introduces the new Undisputed WWE Champion, CM Punk.

Nick welcomes Punk to SmackDown and thanks him for taking his call on Monday. Punk says he’s been wondering what Nick would say, but he has to start with one thing — he misses being here. Punk explains he’s spent the last few months negotiating with management to get moved to SmackDown. Those talks sped up fast once he got the call about a title match. When opportunities like that fall out of the sky, he takes them. He got dressed at home, kissed his wife, and drove across town on Monday night ready to fight.

Punk says he isn’t like other wrestlers or other champions. If anyone saw what he did on Monday, that’s the same champion he’ll be every Friday. That means showing up on TV, defending the title whenever possible, and fighting for it. He doesn’t call himself the best in the world out of arrogance — he says it to push himself, because the locker room is full of people who want the championship he’s holding.

Punk says if anyone thinks he has something that belongs to them, they can come take it. If anyone believes they can beat the best in the world, they know where to find him. He mentions hearing Sami Zayn’s comments on social media and says he understands how Sami feels. Sami deserves a rematch. Punk then brings up Gunther, saying he might regret even mentioning his name. Everyone remembers what happened the last time they wrestled. Punk says he knows he can beat Gunther — so let’s run it back.

Punk starts running through more names, mentioning Finn Balor and reminding everyone they’ve gone to war twice already. If Balor wants to settle things on neutral ground, Punk says he’s his huckleberry. He brings up Royce Keys, Damian Priest, Trick Williams… and before he can continue—

Cody Rhodes’ music hits and Cody walks to the ring.

Cody checks Punk’s chin, then takes the microphone. Cody asks Punk how his eye is doing. Punk says it looks worse than it feels, then asks Cody what he wants to talk about.

Cody says he didn’t come out to talk about the eye. The last time they stood in a ring together, the situation was reversed and Cody was the one with a blackened eye. A championship opportunity fell out of the sky for Punk on Monday — but there are matches that aren’t about luck or timing, matches that have been building for years.

Punk says Cody must be talking about their match. He admits they’ve both been subconsciously avoiding it, maybe that’s why he didn’t mention Cody’s name earlier. They’re friends, and Punk didn’t want anything to get in the way of that. But he always thought this would be the main event of WrestleMania, and they can’t run from it anymore.

Cody reminds Punk that when Cody was champion, he told Punk “just say when.” Cody asks if that still applies now.

Punk looks at him and says… when? Cody answers: SummerSlam. Punk thinks it over, then extends his hand. Cody shakes it.

Nick Aldis announces the match is official.

Backstage: Cathy Kelley, Jade Cargill, Michin, Fab

Cathy Kelley says Jade specifically requested a match with Alexa tonight.

Jade says she’s already dressed and ready to go, and she plans on taking care of Charlotte’s friend personally.

Michin says maybe Charlotte needs to learn a few lessons. Fab adds that Jade will snap Alexa like a twig.

Jade says she’s not taking responsibility for whatever happens to Alexa — that blame falls on Charlotte.

Finn Balor vs. Tama Tonga

Finn shoots in with a double leg and a kick. Tama goes for an Irish whip, but Finn floats over and chops him a few times. Tama answers with a flying back elbow. Tama tries a sunset flip, but Finn rolls through and hits a drop kick — because you don’t sunset flip Finn Balor. Finn clotheslines Tama to the floor. As Finn sets for a flip dive, Talla trips him. Tama drills Finn with a forearm to the back and sends him into the turnbuckles. Tama follows with a neck breaker and a sliding D for a count of two. Tama chokes Finn in the ropes, does it again, and the referee pulls him back, giving Talla the chance to yank Finn to the floor. Talla hits a hot shot on the apron and Tama follows with a clothesline off the ring steps.

Tama returns to the ring and the referee starts the count. Finn beats it and Tama kicks away at him. Tama lands cross faces, snap mares Finn, and applies a reverse chin lock. Finn fights up but Tama drags him back down. Finn gets up again and Tama hits an elbow and punches. Tama whips Finn and misses a corner splash. Finn rolls him up for a close two. Tama hits a back breaker for another near fall. Finn fires punches, Tama answers with one of his own. Finn hits a side Russian leg sweep and both men are down. Finn gets up swinging, hits a flying forearm, then a double leg take down and a double stomp. Finn chops Tama in the corner.

Finn floats over on an Irish whip but Tama catches him. Finn slips out of a powerslam and hits a GTR for a near fall. Finn kicks at Tama, but Tama fires back with punches and a spinning belly‑to‑back suplex for a count of two. Tama hits a splash in the corner, crawls back, and connects with a second one. He lines up a third, but Finn cuts him off with sling blade. Finn hits a running drop kick and heads up top for Coup de Grace.

Talla jumps on the apron and the referee stops him. Finn misses Coup de Grace and Tama hits Cut Throat followed by Angel’s Wings for a near fall. Finn counters a suplex with an inside cradle for two. Finn sends Tama to the floor and hits a flip dive onto Tama and Talla. Finn rolls Tama back inside, hits another running drop kick, goes up top, and lands Coup de Grace for the three count.

Winner: Finn Balor

Backstage: Cathy Kelley with Carmelo Hayes

Cathy asks Hayes about last week and about tonight’s match. Hayes says he isn’t talking about proof or deserve — he’s always done that. Sometimes he comes up short. He says Yachty is a good sidekick. People say Trick has aura and charisma, and that’s fine, but that’s not about what happens inside the ring. Hayes says he won’t throw out catchphrases like Trick.

Uso and Fatu Are Looking for Royce Keys

Truth pays off Frazer and Axiom about the World Cup.

Erik and Ivar walk up and say they’re sick of these games. They want their tag title match.

Jimmy and Fatu arrive and Jimmy asks Truth if he’s seen Solo. Jimmy tells Truth to let Solo know he’s looking for him.

Priest shows up and greets Fatu. Priest says he’s seen Royce and he’s here. Fatu tells Jimmy it’s time to head to the ring.

Truth asks Priest why he did that, and Priest says Royce isn’t their problem.

Nick Aldis – Gunther Backstage Segment

We return from break with Nick on the phone with Sami. Nick acknowledges that Sami is taking a mental health break and says he has the authority to make the match happen.

Gunther walks in, slams his hand on the table, and steps around to the other side of Nick. Gunther tells him it’s Nick’s first day back and he’s already made a big mistake. Gunther says he can help Nick fix it. He says he could stooge Nick out if he wanted, and that he deserves to be in the ring with the champion. Gunther gives Nick until the end of the night to fix the situation.

Nick says he’ll take it under consideration.

Jimmy Uso & Jacob Fatu In‑Ring Segment

Jimmy says there’s only one reason they’re out here tonight and tells Solo to come to the ring.

Instead, Royce Keys’ music hits and Royce walks out.

Jimmy says Royce doesn’t look like Solo and wants to know why he’s out here. Royce says his issue with Jimmy is simple — Jimmy mentioned his name last week, and he mentioned it again this week. Royce says he’s here to take care of that. Jimmy’s “family business” is affecting everyone, including him.

Jimmy says family business or not, this is about Roman.

Royce says Jimmy keeps running plays for Roman even though Roman isn’t here tonight.

Fatu steps up to Royce. Fatu says they’re tight, so let’s keep it that way. Royce can say anything about anyone else, but when it comes to Roman, don’t go there.

Royce tells Jacob it doesn’t have to be like that.

Jimmy cuts in and says Royce doesn’t get to tell him what to say. Jimmy tells Royce he isn’t part of this family.

Royce says blood isn’t what makes family — loyalty does. He says Jimmy’s family has brothers fighting brothers and cousins fighting cousins. Royce says he could talk to his own family members, but he doesn’t have any. Jacob has been his family for fourteen years.

Jimmy warns Royce he’s about to cross a line he can’t come back from. He asks Royce if he understands him.

Royce says he didn’t come here to fight tonight, but there is a line — and he just crossed it.

Jimmy says Royce is crazy and they’ll put a beating on him.

Fatu stops Jimmy and asks, “We?” He says there is no “we” here. This is on Jimmy, and Fatu says he’s out.

Jimmy says Royce crossed the line and calls for a referee.

Jimmy swings first, but Royce hits a short‑arm clothesline and sends Jimmy over the top rope to the floor with another clothesline.

Jimmy Uso vs. Royce Keys

Jimmy starts with a side head lock. Keys knocks him down with a shoulder tackle and fires punches in the corner. Keys hits an Irish whip and a clothesline. He tries a slam, but Jimmy slips out and lands a thrust kick followed by an uppercut. Jimmy sets for a suplex, but Keys counters and hits one of his own for a near fall. Jimmy rolls to the floor. Keys follows and goes for a spear, but Jimmy moves and Keys crashes into the ring steps. Jimmy goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Jimmy applies a rear chin lock. Keys fights with punches, and Fatu hits a dragon whip behind the referee’s back. Jimmy sends Keys to the floor and hits a suicide dive, sending Keys over the announce table.

Jimmy drives Keys into the ring steps again, then rolls him back inside and poses on the apron. Keys fires punches, but Jimmy hits a head butt and a reverse chin lock. Keys punches free, but Jimmy hits a pop‑up Samoan drop. Jimmy charges for the running hip attack, but Keys recovers and hits a clothesline. Keys splashes Jimmy in the corner, whips him, and hits another splash. He repeats the combo a third time, but Jimmy gets a boot up. Jimmy jumps off the turnbuckles and Keys catches him with a powerslam. Keys picks Jimmy up and hits another powerslam for a near fall. The straps come down and Jimmy bails to the floor.

Keys blocks a punch and slams Jimmy onto the announce table. He does it again, breaks the referee’s count, and goes back outside. Keys tries to send Jimmy into the ring post, but Jimmy escapes and sends Keys into it instead.

Solo appears behind Jimmy while Jimmy calls for a timeout. Solo punches Jimmy and sets for a Samoan Spike.

Fatu’s music hits and Solo stops. Fatu and Solo trade punches. Fatu clamps on the Tongan Death Grip and sends Solo over the barricade.

Back in the ring, Jimmy hits a spear and gets the three count.

Winner: Jimmy Uso

After the match, Fatu and Solo brawl into the ring and Fatu kicks Solo. Keys steps in and stops Fatu, and the two stare each other down. Fatu hits a thrust kick and a back senton. Jimmy hands Fatu a chair and Fatu places it over Solo’s head. Fatu charges for the running hip attack but stops short. He tells Solo this is about the family — and next time, he won’t stop.

Cathy Kelley with CM Punk

Cathy asks Punk about Gunther’s comments earlier. Punk says he wants everyone to line up if they want a shot at him.

Candice and Gargano appear on a case behind Cathy. Candice says Sami was the only one who cared about Johnny. Sami was hope for the underdog, and Punk stole that from him.

Punk says Candice had hope for nine days. He tells Johnny and Candice to get back to what they used to do best, because whatever they’re doing now isn’t working.

Finn Balor walks up and says he was hoping Punk would bump into him. Finn welcomes Punk to SmackDown.

We Hear from Jacy Jayne

We come back from break with a look at Fatal Influence. Jacy says it was incredibly satisfying watching Lainey beat Brie. Lainey says they’re going to embarrass Paige next and take the tag titles. Jacy says that next week, in the most famous arena in the world, they’ll be the center of attention. Brie and Paige should be worried, because their time is up. Jacy says everyone will fall under their influence.

Alexa Bliss vs. Jade Cargill

Jade bumps Alexa aside and walks past her to talk to Falrio on the floor. Alexa jumps on Jade’s back, but Jade snaps her over with a snap mare. Alexa kicks at Jade’s leg and hits the running double knees to the back for a near fall. Alexa lands a knee strike. She tries a tilt‑a‑whirl, but Jade counters into a back breaker. Alexa spills to the floor and Jade follows. Alexa throws forearms, but Jade shuts her down with an elbow. Jade whips Alexa into the barricade and poses on top of it. Jade kicks Alexa and stretches her in the ropes, adding forearms across the back. Alexa fires forearms again, but Jade drops her with a back elbow for a near fall.

Jade clamps on a reverse chin lock. She follows with a hard Irish whip and drops into push‑ups. Alexa kicks at Jade’s legs. Jade misses a bicycle kick in the corner and gets caught in the ropes. Alexa drops a knee on the leg, then fires punches, another knee, and a drop kick. Alexa misses a corner splash but hits a blockbuster for a near fall. Jade grabs Alexa by the throat and drives her into the corner. Alexa goes for a cross body, Jade catches her, Alexa slips free and tries Sister Abigail, but Jade counters. Alexa escapes a slam. Fab trips Alexa, and Flair trips Jade right after. Alexa rolls Jade up for a near fall.

Michin charges and runs into a boot from Flair, but Fab sends Flair into the ring post. Alexa knocks Fab off the apron. Jade hits a bicycle kick and finishes with Jaded for the three count.

Winner: Jade Cargill

After the match, Flair saves Alexa, but Michin and Fab jump Flair. Flair punches Michin and clotheslines Fab. Jade drills Flair with a thrust kick, and Michin and Fab hold Flair while Jade traps Alexa’s arm in a chair and slams it into the mat.

Flair checks on Alexa.

Trick Williams Backstage Segment

Trick says he’s been looking everywhere for his title and tonight he’s going to get Ricky.

Yachty walks in and says he went straight to the higher‑ups — and he got Trick a Legacy Title.

Trick looks at the new belt and immediately likes what he sees.

Yachty tells him to go out there and give Hayes a diamond‑level butt‑whooping.

– We are back and Alexa is being helped in the back into the trainer’s room.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Trick Williams — Non‑Title Match

They lock up and Trick throws Hayes straight to the mat. They tie up again and Trick drives Hayes into the turnbuckles, but Hayes slips away from a punch. Hayes grabs a side head lock, but Trick knocks him down with a shoulder tackle and kicks away at him in the corner.

We see Ricky Saints watching on a monitor in the locker room.

Hayes fires back with a drop kick and a springboard clothesline. Trick rolls to the floor, then slides back in and plants Hayes with a flapjack. Trick slaps Hayes across the face. Trick follows with a spinning back heel kick for a count of two. Trick sends Hayes to the floor, but when Trick follows, Hayes chops him. Trick chops back. Trick chops Hayes against the barricade, then hits another one. Hayes answers with chops of his own. They return to the ring and Trick sets for a delayed vertical suplex, but Hayes counters with an inside cradle for a close call. Trick hits a back elbow. Trick whips Hayes hard into the turnbuckles. Trick does it again. Hayes kicks Trick in the knee and hits a springboard DDT for a near fall.

Hayes and Trick trade punches and Trick pops Hayes with a pop‑up shot, but Hayes snaps right into La Mistica for a count of two. Trick blocks a suplex, Hayes lands on his feet, and he does it again on a belly‑to‑back attempt. Trick fires off a pair of leg lariats and plants Hayes with a uranage for a near fall. Trick gets Hayes on his shoulders, but Hayes lands on his feet out of the Death Valley Driver. Hayes kicks Trick, leaps off the turnbuckles with a DDT, and gets another close call. Hayes blocks a slap and waves the Mutombo finger. Trick hits a double throat thrust and a jumping neckbreaker for a near fall.

Trick goes for a superplex, but Hayes blocks it. Hayes knocks Trick down and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Trick blocks First 48, Hayes counters a uranage into a rollup for a near fall, and Trick gets one of his own. Hayes blocks a thrust kick and hits one back. Trick hits a cyclone kick for a near fall. Trick sets for the corner splash and steps onto the apron. Hayes knocks him off, misses a pescado, then knocks Trick into Yachty. Hayes hits First 48 and goes up top for Nothin’ But Net, but—

Baron Corbin yanks Hayes off the turnbuckles and drops him on the top rope.

Winner: Carmelo Hayes (by disqualification)

After the match, Corbin attacks Trick and sends him into the ring post. Corbin hits End of Days on Hayes, then on Trick. Corbin brings the Legacy Title into the ring, drops it onto Trick, and steps over him.

Gunther Confronts Nick Aldis

We come back and Gunther is already in the ring. He says he gave Nick Aldis until the end of the evening, and he’s waited long enough. He wants Nick’s decision right now.

Nick walks out and says he’s had time to think about everything Gunther said. Despite their history, Nick says he’s going to give Gunther what he wants. Gunther wants Cody Rhodes — he’s got him. Gunther wants CM Punk — he’s got him. Next Saturday at Madison Square Garden, Cody and Punk will face Gunther and Sami Zayn in a tag match.

Gunther says Nick still has a chance to fix his mistake.

Nick says the only mistake he needs to fix is thinking Gunther wouldn’t be a giant pain in his ass. The SummerSlam match stays exactly the same: Cody vs. Punk.

Gunther snaps and attacks Nick, hammering him with elbows. He hits a short‑arm clothesline and clamps on a sleeper. Officials rush in, pointing and yelling, but Gunther keeps the hold locked.

Nick manages to get free for a moment, but Gunther cuts him off with a running boot. Gunther goes right back to the sleeper.

Gunther leaves the ring… then comes back and applies the sleeper again for the third time.

Gunther hits another elbow and locks in sleeper number four.

We go to credits with Gunther returning to the sleeper yet again.

WWE SmackDown Preview – July 10, 2026

CM Punk Appears After Winning The Undisputed WWE Championship

CM Punk appears tonight after becoming the new Undisputed WWE Champion on Monday’s episode of RAW. Cody Rhodes was originally set to challenge Sami Zayn, but GUNTHER attacked Rhodes at the start of the show and left him unable to compete. Suspended SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis later revealed that he had recruited Punk to step in, and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce made the match official. Punk went on to dethrone Zayn in the main event.

Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes

United States Champion Trick Williams goes one‑on‑one with former friend turned rival Carmelo Hayes in a non‑title match. The two argued last Friday on RAW, with Lil Yachty also involved, as they clashed over their different views on what it means to hold the United States Championship. Their issues now spill into the ring.

Finn Balor vs. Tama Tonga

Finn Balor competes on SmackDown for the first time since the June 12 First Round Fatal Four‑Way in the 2026 King of the Ring Tournament. He faces Tama Tonga. Tama and Talla Tonga attacked Balor backstage last Friday, with Tama saying he planned to close the books on everything from his past. Balor now looks for payback.
