WWE has announced that the King and Queen of the Ring tournament finals at Night of Champions 2026 will be broadcast on ESPN as part of the event’s simulcast.
The update was confirmed during the June 22 episode of WWE RAW, where it was revealed that both finals will take place during the first hour of the premium live event. The show will air on ESPN in the United States, with full coverage available on the ESPN Unlimited app domestically and on Netflix internationally.
King & Queen Finals Headline ESPN Broadcast
The King of the Ring final will feature Oba Femi taking on Jey Uso, while the Queen of the Ring final sees IYO SKY face Liv Morgan.
WWE has not clarified which of the two matches will air first, but both are set to be included in the ESPN simulcast window at the start of the show.
The stakes remain high, as winners of both tournaments will earn world title opportunities at SummerSlam. Morgan, who already holds the Women’s World Championship, could position herself for a title vs. title scenario against Rhea Ripley if she wins. Meanwhile, SKY would have the option to challenge either Morgan or Ripley.
On the men’s side, the King of the Ring winner will be able to choose between challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship or Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Rhodes is already scheduled to defend his title at Night of Champions in a triple threat match against Gunther and Sami Zayn.
There was some concern surrounding Liv Morgan after a recent house show incident, but she appeared on RAW without limitations and took part in a physical segment with IYO SKY, indicating she is cleared to compete.
With both tournament finals leading off the show and championship opportunities at stake, WWE is positioning Night of Champions 2026 to begin with high-impact matches that could shape the SummerSlam card.
The event is set to begin at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, with the opening hour now carrying added significance due to its ESPN broadcast, giving the tournament finals wider mainstream exposure.
